Wet look booty short - shorts discontinued by Coquette - review by unfulfilled

I was gifted these panties during Christmas by wetone123 and was very excited to receive them because I own a Wet Look dress and thought it would be nice to have panties to match. Thank you wetone123 for your generosity.

What it is

This Wet look booty shorts by Coquette is a boy short type panty that has a "Wet Look" to it. I wear boyshorts all of the time so I am used to the style. These can be worn for any occassion as normal underwear or in the bedroom paired with other wet look items. They are soft and smooth to the touch and have just a light scent when you press your nose directly to them.

According to the Coquette size chart, I fall on the smaller end of the spectrum and should be able to fit into these panties with no problem. For me, they fit below my hipbone and right above my pubic bone and do not cover my entire butt. For this reason, I do not consider them to be true boyshorts but more along the line of cheeky panties with a boyshort style in the legs.

Size of the panties

Unstretched these panties measure out 13" and stretched to the max about 22". The lining of the panty is 4 3/4" long and is 2" wide at its widest part in the middle.



Design

These are black wet look shorts with stitching around the waist band, legs, and down the middle on the front and back. There isn't much to the lining of the panty at all just a small space similar to two triangles sitting back to back. The inside of the panty is just normal black fabric and does not have any wet look to it. If you're not familar with wet look items then basically they're a material with a shiny appearance that is supposed to simulate the effect of looking wet.

Packaging

The panty had a paper Coquette label attached to it by a safety pin with a picture of a model displaying the shorts on. It also has the website information located on the label. The following picture will display the panty exactly as I received them and their packaging.



Material and Care

The panty is made out of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. The spandex allows for stretching which I always enjoy. The tag mentions that it is exclusive of trim, to handwash only, hang to dry, and that it is made in China.

Construction

I found these to be made properly and did not see any loose stitching at all with the shorts. However, the lining is barely stitched into the fabric; you could give it a gentle tug and it would come loose. It is stitched in four places: front, back, side, and side, but the stitching is not very thick in each of those sections.

My experience with the Wet Look booty shorts from Coquette is less than favorable. For me, they tend to ride up in the front and back giving me a camel toe and wedgie simultaneously which I find highly unsexy. I've read other reviews that have mentioned these are very comfortable so I am glad others are able to enjoy these, but they are not for me. I'm constantly pulling them out of my butt crack and just cannot find a happy medium with these.

I really wanted to love these because I've always found the "wet look" to be sexy and it matches my dress wonderfully, but I just can't love something that annoys me so much.

I haven't worn these shorts very often because of the issues that I have while wearing them. They are some sexy shorts, but just not the booty shorts for me.
