Coquette's Red wet look skirt is a perfect alternative if you are looking for a sexy garment made of vinyl but don't want to drop that kind of cash. This nylon and spandex red mini skirt is a favorite of mine due to its durability and oh-so-sexy smooth, plastic-y feel. While its drawbacks include wrinkling, at $17 this should be a staple in anyone wardrobe if you are a "Look at me" kind of gal (or guy)!

Judging by receiving their Small, I was pleased with the true-to-fit sizing. If you follow Coquette's size chart, you are sure to find the best match for you. I pulled the skirt on and was amazed at the body hugging fit that accentuated my hips in all of the right ways. It was not constricting or bunching in weird places like you would expect a $17 dollar item might. Although I did expect the skirt to be fitted throughout the whole piece, (like shown on the model) the base of the skirt had a flight flare out which I did not mind. The skirt did not fail to flatter my behind despite this flaring out.

The skirts waist band is well constructed and does not give me the dreaded "muffin top". Because of the banding, I feel as though I can freely move around and not have this ride up much. It is not a very breathable material; being nylon and spandex, the skirt has a plastic-y "film" over top, which may cause the wearer to get sweaty if this isn't taken off in over half an hour. The inside of the skirt may stick to legs, as well.

Washing this piece may be tricky, but don't let that deter you from picking this item up. The delicacy requires hand washing. I have not washed mine yet, as it has not gotten dirty or sweaty. If something were to get on only the plastic side of the skirt, you may simply wipe it off with a wet rag. Should the garment wrinkle, do not steam it, as it may melt the plastic-like coating of the skirt. I have not experienced extreme wrinkling so far, but I have flattened out the backside wrinkles by laying a heavy object on top of it.

I find that this skirt may cater most to those involved in the BDSM community who are looking for a devilishly naughty faux vinyl piece. All shapes and sizes would look fantastic in this skirt, and I will be recommending it to all!

I have taken the advice of another reviewer and have washed my red wet look skirt by using a delicate spray of a handheld shower head. I carefully hung to dry. I'm pleased that no damage has been done to my skirt, as it is a tricky material to wash! Now that I'm confident in washing this, I do not have to worry about it not lasting very long. I still love m red wet look skirt by Coquette!
