Red wet look skirt - skirt discontinued by Coquette - review by tami

Another home run in the lingerie department. This wet look red skirt from Coquette is what I affectionately refer to as my ravishing red skirt. I ordered it in a size 1x/2x and oh man let me tell you how happy I was to discover that I could have went down to the XL size but I did need it to fit me a little bit loose and cover about half my thighs. As you can see from the photos the 1x/2x covers me everywhere I need it to and does not look bad at all, if I am feeling daring I can even wear this out to a club for a different look and some fun on the town.

Coquettes sizing chart reads as follows:
Small 4-6 (waist 26-28 in) Hip (36-38in)
Medium 8-10 (waist 26-30) Hip (38-40)
Large 12-14 (waist 30-32) Hip (40-42)
X Large 14-16 (waist 34-36) Hip (44-46)
1X/2X 18-22 (waist 38-42) Hip (46-52)
I expected nothing but the best from this skirt and the best is what I got. It is made from Nylon and Spandex combination, of course the spandex is why it is so stretchy and fits with room to move around in and if you like to go dancing and you are feeling daring then this skirt is perfect to wear out clubbing. I bought this for bedroom play since I am to self conscious to wear it out in public still. Hubby loves this and when I put it on his eyes lit up and he asked "Is that what came in the mail today?" Then he proceeded to follow me around dry humping me and kissing me and eventually led me to the bedroom where we had tons of fun.

Care of this skirt. Spandex cannot withstand high temperatures so do not boil it or through it in the dryer. This is a hand wash only and drip dry piece. Do not bleach and do not mix colors. Mine did not bleed when I washed it, but it might you never know with red. So this piece should last a long time for you with proper care. I always check the seams and make sure it is sewn together properly and there is no fraying or lose strings, and all is perfect with this skirt. Like I said before I expected nothing less than the best and that is what I got with this piece!

My measurements are 49inches bust, 49 inches waist, and 49 inches hips. I am currently dieting and trying to get healthier than I have been so My measurements should be changing again here pretty soon (YAY). I am 5'5" tall and I usually wear a size 20 in pants and I like room in my shirts to move around so I wear a 3x or a 4x depending on what company has manufactured the shirt I am wearing since now-a-days a 3x is like a 1x and sometimes even smaller, do not know why clothing manufacturers do that.
