Bow mesh corset - corset discontinued by Coquette - review by VG

This corset is beautiful and comfortable. It has plastic boning and is even comfortable to sit in. It is not as tight as a previous corset I reviewed (the black polka dot corset) and therefore does not cinch the waist as well... but it still is effective. This corset is super soft to the touch inside and out. It feels like velvet and the sheer fabric that makes up the frills is soft as well. It also has 2 options for sizing it in the back with hook and eye closures.

This corset is ideal for women who may be shy about their tummy as it cover the whole area. There is no tummy visible below the corset.

I actually have not worn this corset in the bedroom yet... having a bit of a dry spell! However, I did go to a costume party as Alice (from the new Alice in Wonderland movie with Johnny Depp). I used it with multiple of layers of scarves and pins to closely duplicate the beautiful RED DRESS from the movie. It looked amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be using it again for a Halloween party (I will be dressing as Alice and my girlfriend will be dressing as the Queen of Hearts).

I washed this corset in a mesh bag on gentle and it held up fine. It is a good quality corset. It will definitely stand the test of time. Just be careful if you wear it for a night out dancing. I noticed that the sheer frills on the bottom back were coming loose because of adjusting it. Not that it needs much adjustment... I just move around a lot when I dance so it's expected that it will move around a bit too.

This is an piece that I will get plenty of use out of... in and out of the bedroom. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel sexy and comfortable.

This corset got rave reviews at the costume party by the other party goers. Many people (men and women) complimented me on it and many asked where I got it. It's a great "stand-out" piece.

It was easy to get into. I kept it done up and just gently slid it up over my legs and hips to get into it.
