Not Perfectly Gathered Together

What I was expecting was something like a gathered mini skirt with a nice neat edge, like in the product images. What Coquette produced was a longer skirt with somewhat billowy/scalloped edges. I still like the way it looks with other items in my collection, but it just wasn't what I was expecting.

Follow-up commentary I still like it 2 months after original review

Over the few times I've worn it, I haven't noticed any issues with the construction faltering. Despite washing it maybe half a dozen times, it still looks brand-new. It may not be exactly what I expected, but I still like it. Actually, I'm planning to wear it out to dinner again next month for my birthday.
