Blue bra garter and g-string - bra and panty set discontinued by Coquette - review by Ilovelingerie

I was rather skeptical about ordering this at first. I went against what my gut was telling me and ignored all the reviews I had read about this bra set and went ahead and ordered it anyway.


My only mistake was the sizing chart. I looked at the picture and thought the cups looked like they ran small. So since the small was out of stock anyway…. I ordered the medium without even looking at the sizing chart.

The bra (sizing)


The bra fit pretty well, but the straps of it are a tad bit to long and I am going to have to sew them a little shorter. I’m sure this could have been avoided if I would have bought the smaller size.
My bust size is around a 34-36 B. Though I would imagine a woman with larger breast could still fit in this bra and have it look flattering.




The garter belt(sizing)


The garter belt fit me perfectly! I was very happy with it My hips are somewhere in-between 34-36 inches(which does not match up to the sizing chart) But, bare in mind that the garter belt is adjustable. So I have no doubts that it could fit up to 40” hips like it says.





The thong(sizing)


The thong fit me very well also, I don’t think that a smaller size would have fit me very well. But being as I have never seen/tried on a small I cannot be certain of this.

Detailing





I think the detail work on this set is very cute. The lace, the electric blue, the gorgeous ribbon going through the bust… not to mention all the cute rhinestone detail in the center of the bra and garter belt ! What’s not to love about the look?

The bra has 3 hook and eye closures in the back which makes the bra very adjustable.

Seems to run a little small considering a medium fits me perfectly!

I like this set, there are just a few things I wish where done differently. I wish the straps where stronger and not as cheaply made and I wish there was a little push up padding. Other then that I would say that this set is pretty good. But given the few things I don't like about it I would have to give it an overall rating of 3 1/2 stars. Sadly though, there are no half stars, so I am stuck rating this as a 3 star product.
