Blue bra garter and g-string - bra and panty set discontinued by Coquette - review by unfulfilled

What it is It is a three piece set from Coquette that includes a lightly padded underwire bra, thong, and garter belt in my personal favorite color combination of blue and black. The bra is mostly black with some blue material at the cups and blue ribbon along the cup line and the bra strap. It also has a medium sized blue bow between the two bra cups with a little decorative jewel in the center.




The thong is mostly blue with black lace overlay and is outlined in black with black straps.

The garter belt is mostly blue and has the same ribbon detailing as the bra has. It has a medium sized bow in the center with the decorative jewel as well. The garter straps have a small blue bow above them. The garter straps are not removable and have metal clasps instead of plastic.





Sizes Eden Carries Eden just recently discontinued this set, but it was offered in small, medium, and large sizes. I have the small and my review will be based on that.

Given the following information, the bra should be too big. In reality, the bra is a little loose in the cups, but I think it is made smaller than the size chart because I don’t have as much excess as I normally would. I think the bra would be best suited for those who are A- small B cups. If you’re a AA like me, you honestly don’t have to worry about it swallowing you, which is always good for me. Here’s a comparison photo of it against one of my AA bras. As you can see, there is not much excess in the cups compared to my bra.


As far as the thong and garter belt are concerned, they fit just fine and I did not have any issues with them.

Measurements taken laid flat Bra Each cup measures 6" across and 4 1/2" down. The lace and ribbon portion of the bra strap measures 9 1/2" long. The lace measures 1 1/2" wide. The strap at the back can be adjusted to 11" in length and can be as short as 5 3/4" long. The bra has 3 rows of 2 hook and eye closures. On the first setting the bra is 12" long. It is 11 1/2" long on the middle setting and 11" long at the smallest setting.

Garter Belt The overall wideth of the garter belt is 23" with an extra adjustable length of 2 1/2"-5". It adjusts like a bra strap does with a slider on one end. It has a plastic hook on the other end that you attach to the bra strap end to stay on your body. It measures 5" down from the top of the garter belt to the top of the ribbon right above the garter belt. The longest garter strap measures 6" long and the shortest it can go to is 3 1/2" long.

ThongFirst and foremost, the thong does not have a liner in it. From the top of the thong string to the center of the thong measures 10" long. The thong is 3 3/4" wide at the top, 2 3/4" wide in the center, and 1 1/4" wide at the bottom. At the back the thong string measures 6 1/2" long and then meets with a 1/2" wide and 5" long piece of material.

Material and Care According to the tag this is made of 82% nylon and 18% Spandex exclusive of trim. The only care instructions included with this was that it is best to hand wash this separately. I'm going to add to drip dry, do not bleach, do not iron, and do not dry clean. I personally hate hand washing my lingerie so if you have a lingerie bag or a pillow case you can put this in it and place it in the washer on the gentle cycle. I do not suggest just throwing it into the washer because the lace could potentially snag and rip in the washer.

Craftsmanship This isn’t as quality made item as Coquette is known for. The thong string came loose so now there’s a buckle in four different places where it isn’t stitched completely together. The bra ribbon comes loose and out of the holes that it belongs in. This creates excess at the top of the bra and leaves a gap at the bottom. One other complaint I have about the bra is the lace and ribbon are only on the front of the bra strap. They did not carry the design to the back, but instead just left it looking like a black bra strap. I would have liked to have the lace and ribbon to decorate the back as well.

Back of the piece while worn. I’m wearing my own boy shorts in the photo because I don’t like showing my butt to the entire Eden community. The back of the thong is just your normal black thong strings and the center has blue material with black lace overlay as the front does.



Packaging This shows up in a loose plastic bag that is taped down to protect it from slipping out of the plastic and getting dirty. On the bra is a cardboard tag with a model showing off the set and the back has some basic information about the style, size, and UPC information.

Experience Overall, I know Coquette can do a better job with their craftsmanship so I'm disappointed in that aspect of the product. The bra rubs at the arm pits and is uncomfortable for me so I'm not able to wear it for long periods of time. It is best suited as a short time wear set and not something to wear all day with. As far as the look, I love it and it makes me feel sexy everytime I put it on. It makes me want to go prance around and show everyone because I feel that confident. I just love the coloring and something about that garter makes me feel like a million bucks. I'm going to give this a 3 star rating due to the craftsmanship and the lack of comfort.

The craftsmanship wasn't up to par with other Coquette products, but it has held up to a few years of occasional use.
