Slinky tube dress with open side - gown by Leg Avenue - review by Beck

What is it and how functional is it?
The Slinky tube dress only comes in one size, which is one size fits all, however as most of us know that is not true, although due to the stretchiness of the material the one size fits all will fit a majority of potential buyers. It is very functional as a dress, tube top, or a skirt. The sides are open so it will depend on how you feel about the open sides for whether or not you want to wear it out and about.

What is the material and how do you care for it?
The dress is made of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex, which is really similar to most clothing materials. It is really clingy, but I did not find it was clingy to the wrong areas. There is a lot of stretch to the material, which is great to fit most women. If you look closely enough the material is sheer, but you could pair it with a long sleeve button up top underneath and with a pair of jeans. The material should be hand washed and lined dried, but do not iron, however should you need to bleach it you can use a Non-Chlorine Bleach. There was no noticeable smell to the material.

How is it designed?
The slinky tube dress is a strapless black dress, which is separated on the side by 10 elastic bands on each side. The very top is a complete circle of an elastic band, but other 9 bands are just 2.5” long. It is well made for its price.

Sizing
Unfortunately this is only available in one size fits all, which actually fits me. That almost never happens, since I am a plus sized girl, but after reading previous reviews I knew it would work for me. I am very pleased with the sizing, it fits clingy, but not too clingy where it is unflattering. The main issue with how short this dress is, it cuts off at the end of my ass, but it also rides up. There is no breast support for those who have to have that, but there is plenty of room to wear a strapless bra. Since there is no cups though, it is great for all sizes of breast, I had no issues fitting in my DDD's.

Pairing Suggestions
You can easily pair this with a white long sleeve top underneath and jeans, which would be really cute. If you want to wear this as a skirt it will be longer and you will want to wear a longer shirt to cover your under wear or a slip. If you wish to wear this as a dress as is would be fine, but in public maybe wearing something like this underneath it.

I still rather enjoy this piece. For the price you can't go wrong with it. It's very versatile. It's held up well. And it will fit a variety of women.
