Barely there slip - chemise discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by SubmissiveFeminist

I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase! I got this because it was inexpensive and I wanted a slip for a skirt I own that is quite sheer on the bottom. While this slip is short, it covered the bits I wanted covered and provided a slightly smoother appearance.

Packaging, sadly, was not very exciting. This was on a hanger in a plastic bag, both of which I threw away upon opening. The slip itself, however, was impressive. The material is very soft and stretchy and the lace at the bottom is adorable! Trying this on, I found this to be very stretchy without being loose-fitting. With the stretch and the soft, silky material, I found this slip to be a very comfortable purchase!

The slip could be a little longer, but this is my only con for this product. The slit up the side goes to about my waist. As a result, the side of my underwear does show in this slip, but that's really not an issue I found to be convincing enough not to like it.

In all honesty, I love sleeping in this. It is not really intended to be a nightgown, but I like using it as such. It's a comfy thing to wear around the house when you don't feel like putting legitimate clothes on, or if you just need to throw something on quickly after sex.

This did resolve the problem with my sheer skirt, as I was really just looking for something to cover my underwear while I was wearing it. I was pleasantly surprised with the look and feel of this slip and I find the top absolutely adorable. It also did a pretty nice job of smoothing my tummy out a bit, which was a nice plus!





Ignore the facial expression, I honestly am satisfied with this product. Apparently, I really just thought it was important to contain my joy!

BONUS: This surprised me by coming with a thong, even though it did not state that it comes with one. It's kind of cheap--not your super-expensive-classy thong but it's made of the same material as the slip and it's pretty comfortable to wear.

I've had no problem with durability or cleaning this slip. It looks brand new, and I still love wearing it to bed as a nightgown or wearing it under dresses. For the price, it's well worth it!
