Every woman should have a great "little black dress". Well this is the bustier equivalent. I love black and am always looking for a unique design. I have lacy busters and wet look busters. Those limit where you can wear them a bit. This is sexy and can be dressed up or down. You can wear this just about anywhere under a cardigan or jacket. You can dress it up or down.

The design is what drew me to this bustier. Although plain black, it has some unique style features. First are the three straps that converge to hook behind your neck. Instead of having to tie it behind your neck, you use the hook and eye clasp to keep it in place. I found that the size worked for me but this may be an issue for some. The straps are not removable, but they are so stylish you don't need to remove them. The next design feature is the side panels are mesh allowing for a bit of sexy see through without really letting anyone see anything. So you can easily wear this out to a party or club and also under a jacket for more conservative locations. The bottom has an inverted u-shape in the center. This allows for the cute strappy thong to be seen.

The material pulls you in tightly and flattens your tummy and love handles. The length may be an issue for some so check the measurements if you have a long torso. Personally, I liked that it was a bit shorter because it is easier to wear with jeans.

The solid black midsection has three boning pieces. There is one boning piece in the center and one boning piece on each side, where the solid material meets the mesh material. The sides have a thick mesh material. There are four horizontal satiny ribbons sewn on. The midsection of the back is solid black. There are 18 hook and eye closures down the back and two rows of hooks to choose from.

The thong is great. It features a t-shape cut out section at the top and a solid black midsection. The band is a thin satiny elastic strap. It is quite comfortable. It is very unique. It is nice to see Coquette spend some thought on the thong. Generally, if one is even included, it is merely some plain non-descript little thing that looks like an afterthought not part of the overall look.

As it is mainly Nylon you will want to wash this in cold water with a mild soap.

The material is quite thick. It stretches but does a nice job of holding everything in. The main drawback of this bustier is that the mesh material is a bit scratchy when you rub your hand over it. Once I got it on I did not find it uncomfortable and it did not irritate my skin.

Packaging
This comes in a clear plastic sleeve with Coquette stamped in silver all over it. There is no hanger. The Bustier has a hangtag with pictures of the model wearing it and the style, color, size, barcode and washing symbols on the back. There is a bag with 4 garters. The garters have metal clasps.

I LOVE the thong. This is the only lingerie item I have where thought and design were continued into the matching panty. It is quite comfortable and can be worn separately if desired. The bustier has great design as well for a solid black piece. The sides and strap add a bit of flare. What I really like is that it can be worn as a top or under a jacket/cardigan.

It is quite comfortable. It holds in your tummy and gives you a sleek look without the granny look of Spanks. There is some boning for support but not enough so you feel you can't move freely.

I am a D cup. Although there is not an underwire, I found that it does give a good amount of support with the straps. I like that instead of tying the straps have a hook/eye closure. The straps attaching behind the neck does push your breasts together to give more cleavage.

Other pluses are that the attachments on the garters and straps are metal. I have had issues in the past with the plastic ones bending or breaking. You never need to worry about the metal ones holding up.
