Chandra is an intimate finger massager. Everything about this product's advertising speaks to a wide range of users. The toy is extremely versatile, too. These can be great as teasers, warm-ups, used during foreplay, and maybe even in a blindfold/cuffs situation... depending on your kink factor. This is nice if you want to explore another area of of BDSM called sensory/sensation play. If kink isn't your thing, Chandra can still be used as a clitoral vibrator for solo play. While I wouldn't recommend her for a deep-tissue massage, she can do a good job at tickling your nipples. She'll do a great job running along the shaft of the penis, the testicles, and the perineum.

You can run this massager safely over almost all parts of the body. Almost. Teasing around the anal cavity is always an option, but just know that this toy can't be sterilized. However, you can put a condom on it. I don't suggest actual insertion, either vaginally or anally with Chandra. She's small and... who knows, but that's just really an ER visit that no one wants to pay for.

You're not getting an obvious toy with Chandra. This is a product that wouldn't freak your grandmother out if you left it on your nightstand. You could even turn it on and she probably couldn't hear it from across the room.

Chandra is made from your average, smooth plastic. However, it has a softer, even smoother, plastic coating over the end part of it. Eden gives plastic a rating of 8 on its Material Safety Scale. There's no flexibility to this toy. The entire massager is firm. There's no odor to the hard plastic part and only the slightest hint of a 'new' smell to the softer coating. Chandra has antibacterial properties, is made of food-grade material, is hypoallergenic, is latex and phthalates free.

The softer plastic portion has a limited amount of texture on it. Some thin lifted oval shapes widely encircle the rounded tip and there's a deeper crevice that scoops almost from one end of the coating to the other. On the top of the toy is what is best described as a textured stamp from the manufacturer, Emotional Bliss. This has a little drag to it and you might find yourself needing a little lubricant. Water, oil, and silicone are all viable options.

Chandra comes with three different size finger holders that you can slide onto the massager in order to fit different users. All three holders are made out of hard, smooth plastic. The only texture they have are some sharply pointed ends. Think - cat scratching! Depending on your kink factor these could be used for some sensory play all by themselves.

On the top of the harder plastic part of the massager there's a tiny raised portion, the recharging port, and another, larger raised portion. Both raised portions are used to connect the finger holders to the massager. None of the parts of the massager that I've just mentioned actually come in contact with the body when used as recommended.

Chandra is small. She's 3 inches in total length, 3 inches in circumference, 1 inch in diameter, and 1.5 ounces in weight. We have bugs bigger than this down South. Chandra extremely discreet. This item isn't noticeable as a sex toy in the least.

This toy is rechargable, and her cord is 6 feet long. This doesn't matter because you're not supposed to be using her while she's plugged up. In fact, when you first get her, she's supposed to go straight into the wall for a 12 hour charge. Like I said, no playing with her while she's charging. Emotional Bliss says it will reduce the operating life of the battery. As it is, Chandra can only run 45-60 minutes on a charge. Who gets a sex toy and happily plugs it into the wall for a 12 hour charge without turning it on and playing with it? I did, that's who. I just wanted to see what she was all about!

Chandra's vibrations run throughout the entire massager. Unfortunately, even with the finger holder on, you can still feel the vibrations. The sensations are also slightly dulled by the soft, plastic coating.

There in a seam that runs from the top over the toy, over the tip, and back down the length of it. However, it couldn't be felt while in use.

The controls for Chandra could not be more simple. At the back of the toy there is a small power button. Press it turn the toy on and off. Since it only has one level of vibration, it doesn't get any easier than this.

Chandra is very quiet. You can barely hear her if she's under the covers. If you have on any music, a fan, T.V., or any other distracting noise, you could easily get away with using her in the same room as another person. Even without all of those things, you can't hear her through a closed door.

I found Chandra's vibrations to be on par with those of the Nexus G-Play Medium and the Diamond Spot Vibrator. The only difference is that Chandra is more on the rumbly side and has less of a buzz to it.

When it comes to cleaning, Emotional Bliss warns to avoid using cleansing wipes as it could affect the medical grade plastic over time. The suggested ways to clean Chandra are with mild soap and a damp cloth, avoiding the charging port. Don't submerge the toy in water. It's NOT waterproof. Also, don't clean it while it's plugged in.

All Emotional Bliss massagers have an antibacterial agent incorporates into the manufacturing process of the soft plastic. When the soft, plastic layer comes in contact with moisture, the outer layer of the chemicals in the plastic slowly dissolve, releasing silver ions to the surface. According the Emotional Bliss, The silver ions are 99% effective against a wide range of micro-organisms.

Chandra picks up a tiny amount of lint. A quick rinse before using will take care of this. You can store Chandra and all of her parts back in her box, as it's small and discreet. You can also check out Eden's storage options to see if there's something you might be more interested in. Given her small size, you can store this toy almost anywhere. Just don't forget to store the finger holders with her!

Chandra came packaged in a thick plastic back that I had to rip open with my teeth. The bag was inside a sturdy little paper box along with the charger, and information booklet, and three finger holders (S,M,L). Emotional Bliss really put some money into their advertising. Their booklet is jam packed with information on Chandra as well as her sister-massager, Isis. They even have a few pages dedicated to some of their other products and lubes.

The box was very informative, listing the specs for the toy and everything the box included. At the bottom of the box, Emotional Bliss informs us that the vibration frequency of 80Hz is the perceived frequency to stimulate the erogenous zones. However, during development, Emotional Bliss found that 80Hz is more responsive in women between the ages of 18-30 years old. Women age 30+ prefer the Chandra with the increased vibration of 110Hz. Emotional Bliss makes me wonder if I'm old enough to use this toy.

The antibacterial agent is an interesting an unique feature. However, I think that if we didn't have to take so much care with cleaning it, I would be more impressed with it. I would love to have the ability to clean Chandra as thoroughly as I'd like AND have the antibacterial agent.

I refer to these toys as teasers. They are good for The Husband to use on me as a warm-up during foreplay, for me to prep myself for a bigger and badder toy while going solo, or while being teased during a session. While their vibrations aren't incredibly strong, these types of toys can be very beneficial. Unfortunately, The Husband and I both agree that the vibrations on Chandra travel through the finger handles way too much.
