The Venus butterfly is a great hands free vibrator that can be worn while wearing sex (depending on your anatomy) or while giving oral to your partner. For what it costs, it’s a worthwhile toy.

To put the Venus on, simply detach the waist strap and hook around your waist. Then, step into, or unhook the leg straps and secure. Pull the bra-strap-like closure to tighten, and adjust as needed. There were no directions, but it is simple and common sense. It was not hard for me to get the jist of the product. The straps may also be detached from the toy, by the metal buttons. To put this Venus on, however, one will not have to open and close the buttons, but rather slide open and close the bra-like strap adjustments.

Depending on your anatomy, you can use this toy during sex. I was successful of this Venus not covering my vaginal opening, but for some users, your toy may cover both your clitoris and vagina. If this is the case, your toy is still great for hands free masturbation, as well as tending to your partner while wearing this toy.

The butterfly body of the Venus houses a bullet that I’d say is 3 vrooms. It is controlled by a AA batteries in its attached wired battery pack. This vibrating toy is made out of TPR, which has a 7 on the safety rating. It is hypo-allergenic, latex free and Phthalates free. The toy feels like Jelly material, which gives the butterfly wings its rubbery feel, while still being body safe.

You may use a waterbased lubricant with your Venus. I would stay away from Silicone lubricant, as I have seen TPR toys react with this type of chemical.

To clean the toy, use a mild soap and water. Be mindful that your toy has an attached bullet with cord, and this bullet can be fully removed while cleaning. Do not put this toy in the dishwasher or boil the TPR material.

I would recommend this Venus to those who want to spice up their love life. The hands free function makes it an ideal toy for couples, and, if your anatomy allows, hands free clitoral stimulation during sex. For the price, the Venus is well worth it!
