Jopen Vanity Vr9 - g-spot vibrator by Jopen - review by Trysexual

Efficient targeted stimulation

The Jopen Vr9 is a toy designed to target the G and P-spot alike, with dual motors for multifunctionallity. It is rechargeable, waterproof and silicone. It is quiet and moderately powerful, but the lack of power appears to make up for the power deficiency. A great toy for those looking for G/P spot stimulation. Nice for couples or solo use.
Silicone, dual motor, easy to use, rechargeable, pouch included, well shaped
Buttons too easy to turn on/off, dust magnet.

extremely useful review

The Jopen vanity Vr9 is a dual motor vibe that can be used to target G or P-spots or as a general clitoral and all over vibrator. The smaller end is ideal for G-spot targeting or Prostate stimulation by a partner. It can be used solo, as well, but ergonomically, I think it would be better to use on a partner. You could even use it simultaneously on each other, since it has two vibrating ends, if you get creative.

It is waterproof too, so shower and tub fun is on the menu too.

Material / Texture

The material is body-safe silicone, which is a 10 on the EF safety scale. They recommend using water-based lubes, so not to damage the silicone. The silicone is fairly smooth and has a matte finish and comes in the same boring purple color that all Jopen's seem to be made of. The silicone is not on par with Lelo, but is the next step down. It is a bit draggy, but a dollop of lube aids any discomfort.

There is no discernible smell or taste of the silicone. The small arm is flexible to some degree, while the thicker end is a little more rigid. The toy is ideal for any level user.

Design / Shape / Size

The Vr9 is about 10" long and has a whimsical shape almost like an S-curve. The smaller end is 1 1/8" in diameter, to it is small enough for just about any vagina or anus to fit comfortably. The insertable length is 4 1/2", which should be enough to hit most any G or P spot. The toy weighs less than half a pound and feels solidly constructed.

I wouldn't call the toy discreet. It is travel-friendly in packed luggage and has a lock function. Simply press both buttons for 4 seconds and when the red light goes off, it is locked and will not come on accidentally. Do the same to unlock it, when ready for use.

I guess both ends can be inserted, but the large end is far too large for either of to even consider, but it can also function as a general vibrator for external use.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are two control buttons in the center of the shaft. They are slightly raised and covered in silicone domes. They are easy to push, which can cause some interruptions during play, because one touch will turn them off. These are the press and hold variety. Press once to turn on/off and hold down to increase the intensity. Considering their location, it is often you press them off by mistake in the middle of play.

The toy is very quiet. The smaller end being more quiet and buzzy, while the large end is more loud and rumbly and deeper penetrating. Both vibrations can be felt throughout the body, especially the larger motor.

When using the small end only, the vibrations are weak to middle of the road. Not impressive at first touch. The large end is pretty powerful (about 4 vrooms). I considered returning this immediately, but I noticed how when you turn both motors on full simultaneously there is a harmonic dissonance created that delivers seemingly two spectrums of vibration to the little end (really the only end we find useful). This amps up the pleasure and makes it enjoyable for her.

It wasn't until I saw how she reacted and came rather easily, relative to other toys, that I decide we had a keeper. I was worried between the flexibility and the weak small motor that I picked a dud. She really seems to enjoy it though, so we will be keeping it.

Care and Maintenance

This is an easy to to care for. It is waterproof silicone, so you can wash with soap and water, toy cleaner, toy wipes or 10% bleach solution without worry. The toy comes with a cloth pouch that is big enough to store the toy and charging cord, and then some. I recommend storing in the pouch, as this kind of silicone can be a real dust magnet.

Do not store in direct sunlight and do not boil. I have not had to charge this a 2nd time yet, but I'd guess you can get roughly 1.5-2 hrs on a charge.

The Jopen line comes with a 1 year warranty that is extendable to 10 years.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

The packaging comes in a pretty basic white cardboard box with the Vanity logo on it. Tasteful, understated and fairly discreet. Definitely recyclable. You could use it for storage, but better off just using the pouch.

Personal comments

The toy seems to shine with both motors running simultaneously. Otherwise, it might be underwhelming for some.

I am reiterating below, in case you skipped over it:

I have not yet tried this for prostate stimulation, as I have a large collection of toys for that already, but this is one that I'd want a partner to use on me, rather than solo (if that ever happens). The size and shape seems nearly perfect for that.

Much to my surprise, my girlfriend came really easy when using this in conjunction with oral sex. This is part of our normal routine. Lelo's Liv usually works pretty reliably and is more powerful, so I would say this far surpassed my expectations. Maybe the shape just targets the G-spot better? I don't have one, so I can't say for sure. She is definitely a fan of it though. Lately, it has been my go to toy for getting her off. I also have the VR8, but have not used it on her yet.
Follow-up commentary
This is still a go to toy, along with the Vr8. These hold charge for such an amazingly long time, even when you haven't used in a while. I keep waiting for the battery to die and they just keep going and going and going. Can't say that about many sex toys. Quality item and pretty powerful to boot.
