Venus butterfly - butterfly strap-on vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by red delicious

When I first received this assignment, I have to admit that I was a little intimidated about using a strap on vibrator. I have had limited experience with toys such as this but I was willing to give it a try.

The toy's design is created for the most comfort with the straps attached to the wings of the butterfly. The bullet fits inside the TPR material of the butterfly body with a decent length cord and an easy to use plastic controller. The straps that fit around your thighs and waist are elastic as well as adjustable so it can be worn by almost everyone. It had a slight plastic-y silicone type smell when I first opened it but it went away after washing the toy before use. The ribbed body of the butterfly is created for extra stimulation while the nose and tail rest right on the sweet spots. Because of the size and accurate placement, it is tricky to use another toy along with this one. You would have to shift the butterfly forward if you wanted to use a g-spot vibrator or dildo simultaneously. The vibrations range from low to high and are controlled by a dial on the handset. The highest vibration is pretty powerful but the butterfly is still pretty quiet. The bullet can be taken out of the butterfly and used without the strap-on harness but it's a little tricky taking the bullet out and putting it back in due to the tight fit inside the butterfly.

This toy should probably be used with lube even if it sits on your external areas. The TPR can be a bit sticky and might be a little tricky to take off after wearing it for awhile. With repeated use the straps begin to fray a little due to the elastic material but it takes a while and doesn't effect the performance of the toy. The straps are held around the waist and thighs by a hook and loop clasp and are easy to get on and off. It was a little tricky at first trying to figure out which strap attached where but after looking at the picture it was pretty easy to figure it out.

It is easily cleaned with toy cleaner or warm water but you have to be careful about getting water inside the body of the butterfly where the bullet sits. The straps can get wet but make sure they are dry before putting it away. Getting them wet repeatedly would probably shorten the life of the elastic so only wet them when need be. The toy comes in a standard thin cardboard box that could be used for storage but is a little big and bulky for the size of the toy. This toy is great for wearing it around the house but I would be a little hesitant about wearing it out in public. It's a little bulky to be worn around under clothes out in public but its great for around the house use. This toy has opened my eyes to the strap on world of vibrating toys and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try something a little different. After trying this toy I would definitely be willing to invest in other strap on toys.

I still can't believe that I would ever say this but I love this strap on vibrator!!! It no longer intimidates me and we are still getting along wonderfully!!
