"Hey hey set me free. Stupid cupid, stop picking on me!"

Dear Cupid Kiss,

I tried so hard to love you. I continued to use you even though you hurt me on many occasions. Your G-spot stimulator was lacking. Your vibrations were too weak for me. The feel of you inside me made me cringe. I think we should part ways.

Use

The Cupid kiss G-spot Vibrator by Shaki toys has all the features in a vibrator I could ever ask for all bundled up in one toy. It has a G-spot stimulator, ribbed textures, several vibration settings, and best of all it's waterproof! Unfortunately, this toy did not live up to my expectations. It's a bit intense and intimidating with it's girth. I would not recommend it for beginners! I guess you could always use the Cupid Kiss as a clitoral vibrator, but even then I still don't like it because the vibrations were not strong enough for me.

I did not like the Cupid Kiss at all. I tried for a whole month to make it work for me but could not. This toy was a pain in the ass-err vagina.

Material / Texture

The Cupid Kiss vibrator is made out of light pink TPR Silicone. TPR Silicone is Hypo-allergenic, Latex free, Phthalates free, and is most definitely safe to use. Oddly enough, the box Cupid Kiss comes in says it is made out of 100% Silicone. Shaki Toys must have lied because the Cupid Kiss product page on EF says it is made out of TPR Silicone. This seems a bit sketchy to me.

So in the name of Science I decided to flame test the Cupid Kiss. I looked all over the net for the best techniques on properly flame testing a "silicone" toy. I had my husband flame test the Cupid Kiss for me. Our results were..*drum roll*..

The Cupid Kiss is made out of TPR!

Upon our flame testing adventure, the Cupid Kiss caught on fire rather quickly. The flame left an ashy black color on the toy and melted a nice little ring around the curved G-spot stimulator. We also tried flame testing the side of the toy and the same thing happened. The ash on the toy did not wipe off easily when I washed it in warm water and soap. Shaki toys has major issues! I wouldn't trust this company if I were you.

Moving on. If you take a close look at this vibrator, you will notice a lot of texture. The texture is ribbed and velvety smooth. The tip of the Cupid Kiss is purposely curved to stimulate the G-spot. This vibrator is not flexible, but the G-spot stimulator can be bent a bit back and forth.

I know with textured vibrators you run the chance of the textures not being pronounced enough, thus you are not able to feel them during insertion. With this vibrator you can definitely feel every rib. The ribbed texture was a bit painful for me.

There is virtually no scent on this vibrator and is not sticky to the touch, though it is a bit of a lint monster.
    • No odor
    • Rigid
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

This vibrator is very visually appealing. It is a lovely shade of light pink and has a girly feel to it. As you examine the Cupid Kiss, you will notice that it is a bit girthy. The width on this toy grows thicker as your eyes trail down the length.

The ribs also get bigger towards the base of the vibrator. This toy is curved at the tip for G-spot stimulation.

I wouldn't recommend this toy for those who don't enjoy girthy toys. I have to admit that when using this toy, it did hurt me a bit. I did not like the G-spot stimulator. It did nothing for me.

The Cupid Kiss is a bit large so it wouldn't be the greatest toy to travel with. It is 7 3/4" long, only 6" of it is insertable. This vibrator is 5 3/4" in circumference and 1 3/4" in diameter.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Cupid Kiss is quite easy to use without instructions.

At the bottom of this toy you will find a small, round button. This button controls the vibration settings.

There are 8 vibration settings:
1. Weak steady buzz
2. Stronger steady buzz
3. Strongest steady buzz
4. Escalating from weak to strong vibrations
5. Fast vibrating pulses
6. Super fast vibrating pulses
7. Powerful steady buzz
8. Multi-speed vibrations cycling through all 7 settings.

As you cycle through the vibration settings you will notice the toy becomes quite noisy. You can hear it through the sheets and quite possibly through the door. So this toy wouldn't be the best to use if you share a house with someone other than your significant other. This toy is not discreet.

To turn the vibrations off, hold the button down for a few seconds. You don't have to cycle through all 8 vibration settings for the Cupid Kiss to turn off.

When you first get your Cupid Kiss, make sure you have two AA batteries on hand. The box does not come with batteries. Unscrew the cap and slide the batteries inside. Tightly screw the cap back on and you're ready to go.

If you're going to use lubricant with the Cupid Kiss then a water-based lubricant is recommended.
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

The Cupid Kiss G-spot vibrator is not the easiest toy to clean due to the many ribbed textures. Make sure the cap is screwed on tightly before washing it. Use some mild soap and warm water to clean it. Make sure to clean between the ribs thoroughly. Dab with a paper towel to dry and then put it in a safe, secure place. This toy does attract lint so clean before and after use.
    • Hard to clean

Packaging

The Cupid Kiss comes packaged in a cute purple box with swirly designs running along the front, back, and sides of it. The box isn't very discreet because there are cut outs in front of the box to show you the toy. I don't like storing this vibrator in the box it came in because the box is flimsy and fell apart easily.

In back of the box you will find a few facts such as the material, quality, design and application.

In back of the box you will see a panel that opens up and inside you will find information about size and more facts about this vibrator. You will also find the many vibration settings explained back there.

The Cupid Kiss vibrator comes secured in two plastic trays and slides out easily from the box. You can store your Cupid Kiss in the two plastic trays it comes in after use.
    • Not discreet
    • Recyclable
    • Very informative

Experience

I was so excited to receive the Cupid Kiss G-spot vibrator in the mail. I had read some great reviews on EF about it so I just had to try it for myself. I opened the box and pulled the vibrator out, then slid my AA batteries inside. I cycled through all the settings and loved the many vibration patterns it possessed. I loved the feeling of the smooth material against my finger tips and the ribbed textures seemed promising to me.

Later on that day, I had some time to spare so I decided to use the Cupid Kiss vibrator. I began to warm up by lightly teasing my clitoris with the vibrator. I was not too impressed with the strength of the vibrator on my most sensitive spots. As I got into it, I inserted the Cupid Kiss. It was a bit difficult at first because the vibrator is girthy. I found the G-spot stimulator to be painful as I slid the Cupid Kiss in and out. The ribbed textures were painful also. After 10 minutes I couldn't take it anymore. I slid the toy back out and went to the bathroom to clean it. I was left wanting more and a bit cranky that I wasn't able to get off.

I tried the Cupid Kiss many more times afterwards for a whole month. I still do not like it. I think I've given up already. This toy would not work well for beginners or those who don't like girthy vibrators. Sorry Cupid but it's you, not me.
Follow-up commentary
If I still owned this product it's pretty much be a guarantee that I'd still hate it! Not recommended at all.

Excellent review! I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.

Look at the bright side, at least you have an idea of some things you don't like in a toy, too much girth and texture.
