FixSation Couple's vibe and panty - vibrating panty discontinued by FixSation - review by Breas

The FixSation Couples Vibe is a clitoral stimulator that you attach to the FixSation crotchless panties (which are sold separately). It is to be worn for clitoral stimulation while engaging in sexual intercourse with your partner. This was my first time using a product like this, and overall I am quite satisfied with the product. The vibe can also be used as a clitoral vibrator that you use with your hands instead of the panties if you choose to.

The vibe came packaged in an attractive rectangular box. The front of the box states the brand and has a cute, but simple design. There is also a hot pink piece of paper with a tip about the product inside of the plastic sealing. The back of the box states what is inside, vibe details, and how to use the product. The box is somewhat discreet, until you turn to the backside and see what the product is used for.



Inside of the box packaged neatly are the charging cord, carrying case, vibrator, and instruction manual. The instruction manual is excellent because it is very detailed. Since I’ve never used a product like this before, I really appreciated the thorough manual. The manual inside of the box covers the vibe details, how to attach the vibrator to the panties, how to use it once it’s ready, charging instructions, stimulation modes, cleaning and storage, material composition and certification, user tips, disposal instructions, disclaimer, warnings, 30 day money back guarantee, and a 1 year warranty exchange policy. The product packaging and website does not list the material of the vibrator, though on the product page, it is listed as silicone. The material has a velvety coating which is really smooth. It’s very similar to other products I have that are actually made of plastic. The packaging does mention that the material is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, phthalate free, and latex free.

There are 13 ridges on the top of the vibrator, and 3 on the bottom. I did not feel the ridges when I used the vibrator. The top of the vibrator also has the power button located on it. On the front of the vibrator, right underneath the on/off button, is the hole where you plug the charger. There is a plastic piece to cover the hole when it is not being charged. Below you can see two shots of the top of the vibrator.





On both sides of the vibrator, you can see that there are pieces sticking out. These are the pieces you string the panties through to have the vibrator attached to them. This will be explained more in the panty review. The two items are sold separately because the panties are not a one size fits all item.

When you first receive the vibrator, it needs to charge for 8 hours before use. One end of the charger plugs into the vibrator, and the other end into the wall socket. There is a blue light on the charger that will light up to let you know that the vibrator is charging. Once it is fully charged, the blue light will turn off. My partner said that the charger reminded him of a cell phone charger. The cord is quite long (see measurements above), so you should be able to charge the vibe wherever.



The vibrator lasts for approximately 2 hours after each charge. After the initial 8-hour charge, the vibrator then should be charged in between uses for 4 hours at a time. The vibrator should not be used while charging, and should not be charged for more than 12 hours at a time.

Once the vibrator was all charged up, I was ready to put it to the test. There is only the one button on the top of the vibrator. To turn the vibrator on, you hold this button down for 2 seconds. The button will then light up and be on the mildest vibration mode. Click the button again and it will go on the second vibration speed, which is medium. Click again and you’ll be on the highest speed. Hold the button down for 2 seconds and the vibrator will turn off.

The rumbly vibrations from the product are quite strong, even on the lowest setting. If you were to manually use the vibrator (with your hands and not on the panties), I’d give the vibrations a 4-5 “vroom” rating. With the panties, the vibe does not sit tightly on the clitoris, so there is less pressure, which means the vroom is weaker. My partner and I used these while we had sex, and the best position for me was missionary because more pressure was applied to the vibe when my partner’s body pressed up against mine. The vibe is a bit noisy but should not be able to be heard through a closed door if it is used under a blanket. We did not find the noise to be distracting, but it would have been nice if it were a bit quieter. I asked my partner if he found the vibe uncomfortable in any way while we had sex and he said it did not bother him. For myself, I found it stayed in place while wearing the panties and it did not cause me any discomfort. The only problem I had was that the panties didn’t hold the vibe tighter to the clitoris. I need my speed and pressure!

I did not use the vibrator in water, though it does claim to be waterproof. When I had cleaned the toy, I held it under running water and did not have any problems. On the instruction manual, it says you can use it in water as long as the protective DC socket is tightly secured (this is the front part of the vibrator where you put the cord to charge it). Then on the back of the instructions it says, “For the longevity of the vibe, do not use while submerged in water”. I found that to be a bit confusing, but I rarely use my toys in water anyway.

I would not wear the vibe and panties out in public because the noise is too loud, and there would not be enough pressure applied to it to be exciting. Also, it could not be worn with a pair of tight jeans because it would look awkward.

Cleaning the vibe is quite simple. I just used warm water and soap while cleaning, but you can also use a toy cleaner, wipes, or rubbing alcohol. The vibe comes with a silver, drawstring carry bag, which you can store the vibe in when you are not using it. I’ll most likely just keep the charger, vibe and instructions in the original box it came with. The instruction manual states to store the product in a cool, dark place.

Overall, I rate the FixSation Couples Vibe a 4 out of 5. The reason it looses a star is because with the panties, the pressure I need is not provided.

I actually got rid of this vibe. It just didn't have the strength and pressure that I need. It's nice that they changed it so that the panty and vibe are sold together now. When I had reviewed the product, they were sold separately.
