Love & A Rocket Bullet

The Rocket Bullet is another fun toy from Shaki Toys. It uses regular, not watch, batteries and delivers a good degree of vibration. The bullet works well for clitoral and vaginal stimulation, and can be used in or out of the water. It's length allows for a long area of vibration when used externally, and it also delivers when used vaginally.

I thought the Rocket Bullet by Shaki Toys looked like fun. I’ve gotten other Shakis recently, and they’ve all been pretty decent. The Rocket Bullet is no exception. It comes in a cute, translated box, with lines like “discrete item brings you strong stimulation for both vaginal and anal”. I’m not sure if that’s what they meant, but it's fairly accurate.

The Rocket Bullet is definitely distinct from other bullets I’ve seen. The bullet is about 5” long, with 4” insertable. It’s covered with a gold coating in ABS material, which is a type of plastic. Plastic is non-porous and phthalate-free, and can be cleaned with hot water and an antibacterial soap or with isopropyl alcohol. Water-based, oil, and silicone lubricants are all fine to use on plastic. Plastic also has no odor, which is always a good thing!

The bullet has 9 ripples which taper down from the largest, at 1 1/2”, to the smallest at 1”. It’s attached to the control by a wire. Even though the box suggests anal usage, don’t use this for anal play! The ripples are backwards (going larger to smaller rather than smaller to larger) and the bullet doesn’t have a flared base for anal safety. Using the wired cord as the retrieval cord could cause the cord to break.

The control uses 2AA batteries (hooray, no watch batteries!), which are inserted easily by unscrewing the base. The compartment is labeled so you get the batteries in correctly. The front of the control has the Shaki label, and two buttons: an on/off button and the vibration mode button (labeled as 7). Pressing the On/Off button once starts the bullet vibrating at a low vibration. Subsequent presses on the 7 button change the vibrations to medium vibration, high vibration, roller coaster, pulse, fast pulse, and a really high vibration. The light above the 7 button flashes in time with the tempo or burns brighter so you have an idea of what setting you’re on. If you turn this toy off and then on again, it starts out with the low vibration setting.

The Rocket Bullet is waterproof, and works well in the shower or bath. It can be noisy when used as a clit toy, but is pretty quiet when vaginally inserted.

For an inexpensive and versatile bullet, the Rocket Bullet is a great toy.
Experience
I primarily bought this as a clitoral stimulator, and I was intrigued by the length. I was hoping to find something that I wouldn’t have to hold on to too much like the regular bullet I have. I first tried to position it with the base closest to my clit, but that didn’t seem to concentrate the vibrations correctly. I repositioned the bullet so that the end (the widest part) was on my clit and the rest of it angled backwards. This felt the best, and it stayed in place, but the bullet was too long to use any kind of vaginal toy with it. That didn’t matter too much. It left room for an anal toy, and the combination was able to get me off in under 15 minutes.

I also tried this vaginally, and it was really good! The vibrations were fairly strong, and it went in easily. I didn’t notice the ripples too much when thrusting, and I actually enjoyed it more just keeping it in place. Because it does not have a base on the bottom, adding other toys for clitoral or anal stimulation isn’t a problem when used this way.
Follow-up commentary
This bullet doesn't get as much use as it should! I use the Rocket mainly for clitoral stimulation, although it is fun to pair with the we-vibe and use it vaginally. I most often use this toy alone, although it works pretty well with my partner as well.

The bullet so far has shown no signs of wear or flaking of the gold material, and the batteries last a reasonable time (I do always remove them when it's not in use). This is definitely a fun vibe!
