The Body & Soul Devotion is a great vibrator if you can get past the noise levels. I'll just be up front about that, right now. This is not a toy for shared spaces where discretion is required. If you stand with your ear up against the door, you can hear the toy clear as the day is long.

This is what is known in the industry as a traditional vibrator. Traditional just means it's a straight-barrel vibrator with a single motor, often operated by batteries and can come in many different materials. This one happens to be PU coated plastic.

Unlike so many of my other traditional vibes, the control on this vibe is new to me - it's a horizontal button that is exactly the width of my index finger (half an inch). This allows you to change between functions quite easily. This also allows you to change the function without meaning to do so. To turn it off, simply hold for three consecutive seconds.

There are ten functions, the first three are various levels of pure vibration. The rest are pulse patterns ranging from short, heartbeat like pulses to long and strong vibrations with a three to five second delay between them. As I am not fond of patterns to begin with, the last seven are a waste for me and I simply stay on level three which is the strongest solid vibration of them all. It is actually stronger than the same setting on my Bedroom Kandi Happiness and Joy. However, it is no where near as comfortable to use or hold, as it is just a smaller vibe in general than the BKH&J.

The color is a fantastic metallic; if treated right and kept away from rough surfaces it will not scratch or chip. It requires 2 AA batteries. Both of which are easy to insert. I found I had to remove the slip of paper included (I normally don't do that) because it seemed to weaken the strength of the vibes and make the noise just this side of unbearable.

Aside from the noise and the fact that it's easy to switch between functions without meaning to, I actually like this vibrator more than my traditional silver bullet. For one, it's definitely stronger than that and for two it's easier to pin point where I want the vibrations just due to the tiny little point on the end.

It's also easy to thrust with in conjunction with another vibe on the clit as it doesn't interfere with the motions. The cost is also a selling point - neither too expensive or cheap, and it's a great way to find out what kind of functions and patterns along with the strength of those functions you prefer for a great orgasm.

This toy is waterproof and easy to clean. Any toy cleaner will do the trick as will soap and water. Any type of lube can be used with it, as well. Storing it is a breeze. You can keep it in your nightstand or toy box, but if you want to carry this around with you in your purse or bag, I suggest slipping it into a toy pouch. Because it's plastic, it's really up to you whether or not you would use condoms if you're using it on multiple people, but I would definitely recommend a thorough wipe down before focusing your attention on a new partner. If you wish to travel via plane with your new friend, remove the batteries and store them separately to avoid potentially embarrassing scenes when dealing with our lovely TSA officials.

It takes about ten minutes for me to get off with this vibe from clitoral stimulation alone, which is about average for me. Even less if there are multiple activities going down at once.
