Vanity Vr6.5 - rabbit vibrator by Jopen - review by Beck

The Jopen Vanity is a rabbit style dual action vibrator. There are dual motors to control the the shaft and the clitoral arm separately. Rabbit vibrators are designed, mostly, for the female anatomy, but it could be possible to use on male anatomies. The insertable shaft is designed to stimulate the G-spot, but the shape could work wonders for the P-spot as well. Should the insertable shaft be inserted anally there would be no risk of the anal cavity sucking it inside. When used anally on a female anatomy the clitoral arm could still reach most clitorises, but this will vary individually. When used anally on a male anatomy the clitoral arm would stimulate the perineum, but depending on the toy and the individual this will vary as well. However, rabbits are designed for female use. Unlike most original rabbit style vibrators, the Vr 6.5 is a petite toy. Depending on your anatomy you could use it for double penetration, but only inserting the Vr 6.5 vaginally, since the clitoral arm would be in the way. The base of the rabbit will also act as a handle, so it can easily be manipulated by yourself or a partner.

The entire Vanity Line is made of hygienic silicone. This silicone is especially a lint magnet as you will see in the photos. Silicone is a man made semi organic polymer that is known for its stability and being water repellent. Silicone retains heat well, so you can soak a waterproof silicone toy in warm water for temperature play. Silicone is also known to repel dirt and bacteria, but this doesn't mean you should not clean it properly. Need latex free, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, food grade material, and non porous materials? Well, silicone has it all, including being tasteless and odorless. With the proper care silicone can even be shared amongst partners without a condom or with. If you opt not to use a condom you should properly clean your toy in between partners. Every company's silicone is different and, even amongst toys of the the same company, the silicone can be different. The Vr 6.5 seems to be more of a lint magnet than my other Vr toys. However, it seems to also have less drag. There is a hint of drag, but should you feel the drag is too much, a compatible lube will fix that issue (see care section for compatibility). The silicone on the Vr 6.5 feels soft and luxurious. It is virtually seamless, but there is a slight seam. The seam is so slight that you can't really see it. let alone feel it. There is no texture to this toy. This is a toy that is designed for beginners and advanced users alike.

Upon arrival I noticed the similarities in design to a few toys I own. The first is Vitality and the second is Life, which are both Leaf Vibes, also power bullets like the Vr 6.5. Below are images to show you what I mean by similarities.



The Vr 6.5 is similar to Vitality because it is a flexible rabbit vibe that is petite. It also has the same controls. There are some differences, but overall they are similar.


The Vr 6.5 is similar to Life as well. The shape of the shaft and the clitoral are they same as Life, but in an insertable and rabbit style.

The Vr 6.5 is 6.5" long, but only insertable up to 4.5". The shaft has the same design as Life. It starts with a pointed tip for easy insertion. Then the shaft becomes thicker, giving it a girth of 4.75" in circumference or 1.5" in diameter. On the back side of the shaft towards the bottom is the hole for the charger and some raised lettering marking this as a power bullet, telling you it is a 5V battery, and not to throw it in the garbage. This then thins down to attach itself to the sphere base. The sphere base has the controls located on the front. Continuing upwards brings you to the 2.75" long clitoral arm.

The clitoral arm has the same design as Life, and the shaft too. The shaft and the clitoral arm are firm until they get closer to the base. This is because the arms and the base are separated. The clitoral arm is 3.5" in circumference or 1.25" diameter. The clitoral arm is designed to rest on the shaft when not in use. However, upon insertion, the clitoral arm becomes flexible. This will allow it to fit most anatomies, but like most rabbits it might not fit all anatomies. The clitoral arm loses pressure as it is flexed, but still applies some pressure. However, if you find it lacks in pressure you can use your thumb to add to the pressure.

The Vr 6.5 does not appear to be discreet, but it is fairly easy to hide. With the locking feature, it is even great for traveling, as long as you have the proper adapters to charge your toy where you are going. You lock the vibrations by holding in both buttons until the lights shut off. Then to unlock them hold both buttons in until they both light up.

Upon arrival your Vr 6.5 will need to charge for 4 hours, but it could take less time. When you plug the charger in a red LED light turns on to tell you the toy is charging. When this light turns off, your toy is ready to go. You get a 60" cord to work with for charging. The charger is a metal prong that looks like ones on head phones. But it is also the same as any of the Jopen Leaf line of rechargeable toys. The battery life for this rechargeable toy can vary, but so far has lasted 3 days of an hour use each day. The vibrations have not weakened as of yet.



The controls are located on the front of the sphere base. The bottom button controls the clitoral arm and the top controls the shaft. You can't turn them on pressing the buttons at the same time, so press one at a time. You press and hold each button until you get to the desired speed. The red LED light will stop flashing when it has reached top speed, which takes about 5 seconds. Then with a single firm click, the control shuts it off.



The clitoral arm could go for being a little stronger. If you turn on the clitoral arm alone, they are moderate buzzy vibrations. However, when you turn on the shaft with the clitoral arm, the power gives the clitoral arm a boost. The clitoral arm changes to 4 vrooms that are still buzzy, but the shaft is a solid 5 vrooms that are rumbly and deep with the clitoral arm on, too. The shaft responds well to firm pressure and doing so makes the vibrations deeper. Without the clitoral arm the shaft is 4 vrooms that are deep and rumbly with pressure, but without they are buzzy. The loudest this vibrator will be is with both motors on and it is still virtually silent, especially once inserted.

The Vr 6.5 is completely waterproof. The hole for charging creates a bubble inside that stops water leakage. Should this fail, contact Jopen because that should be covered under the warranty. The vibrations are muffled under water and the toy does not heat up.

Silicone can be cared for easily and in many different ways. Don't put this in the dishwasher or boil it because doing so could damage the motor. Since this silicone is such a lint magnet, you should wash it before and after every use so you don't expose anything unhealthy to the body. The ways you can wash this toy are as so:

1. Washing with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, then wiping it down with a microfiber towel or air drying.
2. Washing with a universal toy cleaner and warm water, then drying it off with a microfiber towel or air drying.
3. Using toy wipes to wipe the toy completely down before and after every use.
4. If sharing or if you want to sterilize your toy, wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution, then air drying it or using a microfiber towel.

You will want to get this toy in the storage bag shortly after washing to help cut back in the lint issue. Like all Jopen Vanity toys, the Vr 6.5 comes with a pouch to store your toy inside. This is a black draw string pouch that is large enough to store the toy and the charger. There is plenty of room to store more inside, but be sure not to store it with other silicone toys or any toy that is not compatible with silicone. Doing so could damage your beautiful toy. You will want to store the toy somewhere discreet after putting in the pouch. Somewhere like your dresser and so on.



Silicone can also be damaged if you use the wrong kind of lube with it. Silicone is recommended to only be used with water based lubes. Be sure to check condoms to make sure they only have water based lubes on them before using a condom too.

The Vr 6.5 comes in a box that is just like all the other Vr toys. It has the toy's picture on the box and some useful information on the back. Inside, your toy has its own placement, and under that is the charger and the manual. You can find information on the warranty with the manual.

I am a huge fan of Jopen toys and recommend everyone try at least one of them.

My first thought about the Vr 6.5 was that it would not fit my anatomy. The closeness of the clitoral arm seemed like it would work best for those whose clitorises were fairly close to their vaginal opening (You can find more information about this here.) Since mine comes in at 45mm away and most women are around 28mm, I thought for sure that there was no way this would fit me. I didn't expect the clitoral arm to be that flexible. Nonetheless, I was excited to try it. After receiving my first one and being disappointed it was defective, I spent the extra money to overnight my replacement.

After charging it and my first chance for some "alone" time I began using it. I found it awkward to insert because I had to spread the clitoral arm to insert it properly. However, I got it inside and rotated so the clitoral arm was in the "right" spot. I turned on the vibrations as high as possible and began to move around the vibrator. I was able to reach an O within 5 minutes. The curves on the shafts fit my shallow G-spot well, but the design won't fit all G- spots. The clitoral arm is like rubbing a thumb against your clitoris. I was in awe about this toy. I absolutely love it. I find that it fits me more than I ever thought it would. I do find sometimes the clitoral arm doesn't have enough pressure, but I use my thumb on it to help apply pressure and it works really well.
