Surprisingly, the Vr6.5 doesn't get 5 stars.

I was expecting quite a lot from this toy. I'd had it on my wishlist for sometime, and I had to save up for a while just to get it. It is now the most expensive toy I own, and to be honest, I'm not sure it was really worth the price. I was torn between a few Jopen rabbits and decided this design looked best for me. While it certainly has several pros, for $141.99 I was expecting MUCH more.

Use

This toy is ideal for clitoral and g-spot stimulation. I suppose this could be used for anal play if you really wanted to, as the clitoral arm could act as somewhat of a base. It is great solo, and could be even more fun with a partner.

I've found that this is great for g-spot stimulation, more so than any other toy I've ever had. The shape and size are perfect for g-spot stimulation, and it's not so rigid that it's painful or over-stimulating.

It is waterproof, so it is fine for tub/pool/shower play, and since it is so quiet it is great for those who live with roommates. It is very travel-friendly, as the the toy can be "locked" so it doesn't start buzzing if you're traveling with it! I think this is great because I've been in situations where I put a toy in my bag and the dial gets nudged or the button is pushed, and next thing I know my purse is buzzing! I think this is the first locking toy I have, and I really like that feature.

Material / Texture

This toy has no smell or taste. It is silicone, so it does have some drag to it, you'll want to use a water-based lube with it. But the texture is smooth, not sticky like silicone can sometimes be. Still, it is a lint magnet. It is very flexible, which makes the clitoral arm better suited to just about any user's anatomy. It is phthalates-free, latex-free, and hypoallergenic. Silicone is non-porous, so it is very body safe if properly cleaned.

This silicone is less sticky feeling to the touch than other silicone toys I have. This is has more of a velvety texture than a sticky feeling to it. Still, it does pick up dust and hair pretty easily, but that is to be expected with silicone. It's completely smooth, there is no texture. It is great for beginners or advanced users. I would consider this to be more of a g-spot toy with some clitoral stimulation than an exciting rabbit, if that makes any sense. This is different from other rabbits I've owned.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is very ergonomic. The shape of the insertable g-spot attachment is just perfect for me. If I angle myself properly, this provides g-spot stimulation that I haven't been able to find with any other toy, particularly when using them solo. The shape can really make for some good g-spot stimulation if you find what position best suits you. If the insertable portion was just slightly more rigid somehow, that would probably make this toy even more fun. The clitoral arm can also provide some good stimulation, and since it is so flexible there is not much need to worry about if it will fit your anatomy. I would not recommend bending the arm back as far as possible as it could be damaging, but you can flex it back quite far when using it. The flexibility of the arm could actually provide less pressure on the clitoris, which could make it less enjoyable, but it can be pressed against with you hand or your body weight depending on how your body is positioned.

There are only 2 buttons, one that corresponds to the clitoral arm, and the other to the shaft. That keeps things pretty simple, though I could see them being a bit difficult to operate if lube got them slippy, especially since they are pretty close to each other.

The size of this toy surprised me. Every other rabbit I've had in the past was pretty big, considering the handle and the insertable portion of the toy. This rabbit is fairly small, but that is not to say the size is a problem for me. If you prefer longer insertable toys, then you might want something else. The total toy length is 6 1/2" inches, and 4 1/2" of that are insertable. The shaft is fairly thick in the middle, 4 3/4" inches at it's widest point. That width and the shape together really work well for g-spot stimulation for me.

The design is not really whimsical or realistic at all. Maybe it looks somewhat futuristic, since it looks so sleek. The looks is not totally discreet, but it doesn't look exactly like your typical classic rabbit in terms of shape or size, so that could makes it more discreet than many others I've seen and owned.

Here it is compared to the Silicone Finger Bunny, PicoBong Ako, and the Virgo Astrovibe:

Functions / Performance / Controls

Before use, the Vr6.5 needs to be charged for 3 hours according to the instructions it came with. While it is charging, there is a red light that glows above the tiny charging port hole on the back of the handle/base of the toy.

When it is completely charged, the light stops glowing. I was really eager to finally try mine out, so I was happy when I saw that it took about and hour and a half before the charging light went off. The charge seems to last for a while, I used mine for at least an hour and I didn't notice the vibrations weakening at any point. Though, I do with the vibrations were stronger and more rumbly than buzzy, in the first place. The toy is not as powerful as I would expect it to be, the vibrations are weaker than all of my other vibrators. In fact, and this sounds crazy but it's true...I think I even have bullets that feel stronger or are at less buzzy, than this toy's clitoral arm. The toy itself is surprisingly quiet when turned on, even with both vibrations at their strongest. I think it is even more quiet when actually inserted.

There are only two buttons on this toy. With them, you can individually control the vibrations in the clitoral arm and the shaft. Also, the toy can be locked by holding both buttons for 4 seconds. So convenient! If you press either button one time while the toy is on, the vibrations will turn off completely to the corresponding part. That could get frustrating if you accidentally bump a button in the middle of use, as there is not much of a handle to hold on to so if you are using this with a partner that could pose even more of a problem. I use it while laying on my stomach, and I bumped the buttons a couple of times, and accidentally pressed the opposite button a few times since they are so close and can easily get confused if you don't see what you're doing.
    • Discreet sound
    • Not enough variety

Care and Maintenance

This toy is very easy to clean and store. It comes with it's own storage pouch, which is just lovely. That can help keep the silicone protected, and keep lint and hair from sticking to it. The toy, it's charger, and the instruction booklet fit in the pouch with room to spare. The bag is not very big, and even with all of that stuff in it is takes up minimal space.

It is silicone and waterproof, but it is also a vibe and has motors that could get damaged so it should not be boiled or put in the dishwasher. It is recommended to clean it with soap and water, but any toy cleaner/wipes that you are comfortable with would be fine as well. Remember, silicone is 100% non-porous, so this is easy to clean and you don't have to worry about bacteria staying on or in the toy. If you wanted to, you could even clean this with a 10% bleach solution. However you choose to clean it, make sure you let it air dry or dry it off with a clean towel before you put it away.

Since it is silicone, use it with water-based lubricants only! Do not use with silicone lubes.

The toy comes with a one year warranty.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

This toy came to me packaged in a Jopen box, that was sealed in plastic. The box makes this look presentable and nice to give as a gift, it looks sleek and classy. It could be kept for storage if you really wanted, but the toy also comes with a nice pouch that makes the box unnecessary to keep. I love that it comes with a pouch!

The back of the box included of a list of features that this toy has:

The inside also comes with a list of features:

And it comes with a booklet that shows each Jopen vibe, and how to operate them. It comes with instructions for each Vanity vibe, which is nice and you can look at it and compare the differences in functions that each of them has.

    • Good for storage
    • Very informative
    • Would make a nice gift

Experience

I was expecting this to be my new favorite toy. I'm kind of torn on whether I should give this a 3 or a 4 star rating, since it has a lot going for it, but for the price alone I expected much more. I have much cheaper silicone toys that have stronger vibrations than this one...but they're not rabbits and they're not rechargeable! The vibrations this has are much too buzzy for me, specifically in the clitoral stimulator. In fact, when I first tried it out I thought that this toy actually had some of the most buzzy vibrations of any toy I currently have in my collection. I had to clean out my collection and get rid of all of my non-silicone toys recently for health reasons, so I really wanted a strong silicone rabbit! I've had other rabbits in the past, but they were made of cheaper materials that I can no longer use. They had many more vibration settings and stronger vibrations than this rabbit, and for a fraction of the price, but they were low quality materials. For $141.99, I was expecting some mind-blowing, deep, rumbly, 5 vroom vibrations in both the g-spot AND the clitoral attachments. Also, there aren't really any vibrations patterns to this toy. This is rechargeable and easy to clean, it comes with a storage pouch, instructions and a list of all the other Jopen rabbits. It's waterproof, totally non-porous...so much going for it! But still, it leaves a fair amount to be desired. While I was first using it I found myself thinking, "Maybe I should have used the money I'd saved up for this to finally get a Hitachi and a silicone cover..." I've used this toy a few times now, having charged it more the last few times. Still, it seems to take me 30+ minutes to give myself an orgasm with this toy, which is not what I wanted. I have some toys that can get the job done in 5 minutes or less, but I really wanted a rabbit, since pretty much all of my current toys are clitoral vibrators and I miss having a nice, satisfying rabbit. With this, I get some surprising g-spot stimulation, but it is really lacking in clitoral stimulation - if that arm were stronger and more rumbly I would LOVE this toy.

Here's hoping I can find a good silicone rabbit in the near future...maybe I'll give one of the more traditional-looking Jopen rabbits on my wishlist a shot...if I can save up for it!
Follow-up commentary
This is a complicated follow-up review. One week ago, I was using this toy and decided I was getting to like it more, though there are still things that could be better about it. And if the shaft was maybe an inch longer, that would be even better. After using the toy and cleaning it, I noticed an issue. Right between the shaft and the clitoral arm, in the groove where the two meet, there was a big split down the middle! I was going to write my follow -up review then, but I decided to wait instead. As I commented on this review right after I noticed the problem: "I have not even had this for a month now, I've used it enough times that I can count on one hand...and I just noticed that it is splitting!!! Right between the shaft and the clitoral arm, right where they meet. This is not sterile, and I am VERY upset, especially being infection prone. It's not like I can boil this to sterilize it, and I just noticed it but it may have been there for a while now. I just contacted Vibetronics per suggestion of the Jopen website. I am going to be very upset if they do not reply and replace this immediately. This is a very expensive toy! I had to save up for this for too long for this to be an issue!!!"

Well, I contacted Vibetronics, they told me to make sure that I registered the product so it would be covered under the warranty. I did that, which was a very simple and instant online process. The woman that contacted me about the problem from Vibetronics told me to clean the toy off, put it in a box with the pouch, charger (really whatever I had that it came with) and ship it out to Vibetronics in California. She added that the $10 check that would usually need to be included was being waived by her personally, but to include a note saying that she had waived the return shipping charge. I paid to send it off, they would not cover shipping to have it sent out, though it turned out to be like $3 to ship which was not that bad. I just got my replacement in the mail, a week after I sent the broken Jopen to them. I charged this one up and it seems to be working fine. Brand new Jopen in a brand new box. I'm pretty pleased with the way this was handled and how quickly I got a reply from Vibetronics about having an issue with the product... Hopefully this one doesn't develop any issues!

Overall, I like the product, though as I originally wrote in my review, there are some things that could be better. I expect something perfect for the price it costs. However, just as I got to like it more, I noticed that it was torn! For me, that is a really big deal. Not only did this cost a lot, but I am infection prone. That is really not safe, and could end up costing me a fair amount in visits to the clinic and medication. Basically, I have mixed feelings about this product.

This does sound troublesome. My 6.5 doesn't seem to be developing any problems, though now I'm glad for the warning.
