Vanity Vr6.5 - dual action vibrator discontinued by Jopen - review by The Vixen

The Vr6.5 is an awesome dual stimulator vibrator from the Jopen Vanity line.
It’s meant to provide stimulation to both the G-spot and clitoris, but because of its shape it should be safe to use for double penetration or prostate play also. Because there are two arms each with their own motors, it’s really up to your imagination how you would like to use it.
Its size is not very large so it would be very accommodating for beginners, but also has enough strength for advanced toy users as well.
This toy is rechargeable and has a waterproof seal over the charging port, making it safe to take in the shower or bath if you are so inclined.

Like all the other Jopen Vanity vibes, this toy comes in a fun bright pink/purple color, which some people might say is close to a fuchsia. It’s a very hard color to capture in photos, and will usually look too pink or too dark. The color is very vibrant and almost seems to glow in person.
The silicone is very smooth and velvety but does have a lot of drag to it, my Vr6.5 is one of the biggest lint magnets I have.
It’s best to use a water-based lubricant with this toy. Silicone-based lubes can have a bad chemical reaction with silicone toys and can ruin the material and make your toy unusable.

The Vr6.5 is 6.5 inches long with the insertable shaft portion measure 4.25 inches. The widest part of the insertable portion measures 4.5 inches around. There is also the clitoral arm that is 2.75 inches long. Both the shaft and the clit arm each have their own motors that function independently of one another.

The fit of this toy is a bit anatomy dependent, but the clit arm is flexible and has the ability to fit many different body shapes, but at the same time it is still firm enough to be able to maintain a good connection with the clitoris.

The Vr6.5 has an ergonomically shaped shaft that could be considered more of a bulb. For me it was very comfortable once inserted and it fit me like a glove. It nestled right against my G-spot and gave a nice full feeling.

The Vr6.5 is controlled by two buttons on the base of the toy.
The top button controls the shaft and the bottom button controls the clit arm. Both the shaft and the clit arm can be controlled independently.
Both the clit arm and the shaft each have the same controls. To turn either one on simply press the corresponding button and the button will illuminate and the vibration will start at the lowest setting. This toy does only feature steady vibrations, so this is not an ideal toy for those who prefer pulsation or escalation.
To increase the vibration, hold down the button and the light will start blinking while the motor increase speed. Once you reach the maximum intensity or you take your finger off the button, the increase in speed will stop and the light on the button will turn solid again. To turn the intensity all the way up to the highest setting from low takes about 5 seconds. To turn the vibration off at any time, just press the button and it will shut right off.
Since both the shaft and clit arm are controlled independently of one another you can choose to have both, or only one of the motors on and you can mix and match intensities and customize your experience. Pretty cool, right?

The Vr6.5 is very easy to clean because it’s smooth and is waterproof. I take it to the sink, spray it down with toy cleaner and then rinse it off. You can also use soap and water or toy wipes, and you can even use a 10% bleach solution for a good sanitizing.
The hardest place to clean and dry is the little crevice were the clit arm connects to the shaft, so you may need to take an extra few seconds to make sure no residue is hiding in there.

This toy is rechargeable and charges via a tiny port of the back of the base of the toy. There is no plug that you have to remove to insert the jack. There is a small hole in the silicone that covers the charging port on the base of the toy. The hole in the silicone closes up very tightly when the charging jack is not inserted, and it does not allow any water to get into the toy. You do have to gently push a little bit to get the silicone hole to stretch open.





Once the charger is plugged in there will be a light that will illuminate right under the charging port. This light indicates that the toy is charging and it will shut off when the battery is full. And just to mention; this toy cannot be used while it’s plugged in.
I believe the initial charge time for this toy is about 3 hours, and I got about 2-3 hours out of each charge.
In my experience the battery life is very good, I’ve been able to leave the toy sitting for a week or two and come back to it to find the battery still charged and ready to go.
It’s recommended to recharge this toy monthly to keep the battery functioning well, even if you are not using the toy.

The Vr6.5 comes in a white box that has the company logo on the front and a picture of the toy and information about it on the back. It’s classy and there’s no nude woman on it, but I still wouldn’t consider this box discreet because of the information and picture on it.
Inside the toy sits in a light purple cardboard tray. Underneath the tray you will find the charger, booklets and storage bag.

There are many items in the Jopen Vanity line and some of them are going to fit you better than others depending on your anatomy. The Vr6.5 fit me perfectly and I was really pleased. With most dual stimulator vibes I run into the problem of the clitoral arm not lining up right to my clitoris or it being too flexible and not being able to provide the pressure and stimulation I need. I was really pleased that the shape and the balance of the flexibility and rigidity was just right.

The problems I ran into with the Vr6.5 was with the function. The Vr6.5 only offers constant vibrations and I’ve come to realize that I prefer pulsations when it comes to internal vibes because I’m not able to feel constant vibrations as well. And I did notice some numbing with both my clitoris and G-spot after using this toy for only a few minutes. With both the constant vibes and the numbing affect coupled with the fact that this toy isn’t great for thrusting made it impossible for me to get the stimulation I needed to be satisfied. I realize that I might be unique and this toy might work wonders for others out there.
The quality of this toy is really nice and the motors are very strong and offer deep, rumbly vibrations. Because I didn’t work well for me I don’t feel like I can justify giving it five stars, but it is a great toy and I highly recommend it to those who like constant vibrations and are looking for something that can be used hands-free.
