This toy is a simple attachment for the Hitachi Magic Wand. By itself, its nothing more than simply a silicone cap. But paired with the Hitachi, it becomes an amazing, pleasure inducing toy you won't want to put down. As it is just used with the Hitachi, it can be used in just as many ways as the Hitachi can be. This includes everything from using it all over your body for a tingling massage to directly on the clitoris for an incredible orgasm.

The cap is made completely of silicone, which is on the best features of the toy, in my opinion. It is completely smooth all over, though the material is not necessarily slick. It has a sort of grip to it, so if you want it to have that slippery feeling while using it, you'll want to bring out the lube. The top of the cap is completely round, and has no protrusions whatsoever. The sides, however, feature parts that jut out from the body of the cap.

On the one side of the cap, there is a vertical ridge that swoops down into a small tail that extends from the cap. I believe that this vertical ridge is intended to be used to stimulate the vaginal area, though my wife has said that it doesn't really do much for her compared to the ridges of the other side of the cap. The three ridges found on the opposite side of the cap add an extremely unique look to the overall design of the toy, and are my wife's favorite aspect of it. She has said that she enjoys being able to run the ridges along her clit, as the texture adds a nice contrast to the totally round portion of the cap.

My wife and I were very pleased with the Hitachi when we first got it. If you don't have experience with one, you should stop reading this right now and go order one for yourself immediately. It truly is one of the best designed and powerful toys we have in our collection. Sometimes, though, it can actually be a little too powerful for my wife's enjoyment. That's where the "Off With Their Head" cap comes in...

If you, like my wife, feel that the Hitachi's vibrations are at times too intense, I'd highly recommend you try this cap out. When using the Hitachi with this cap, the vibrations are made a little more bearable (I'm tempted to say dampened, but I don't want it to sound like the vibrations are no longer adequate). With the standard cap, my wife would have to only lightly press the Hitachi head up to her clit, but this cap allows her to move up and down and around her clit as she uses the wand. The best way to describe it is that the cap absorbs some of the vibrations, but not so much that it doesn't transfer all the power that you've most likely come to love from your Hitachi.

As mentioned earlier, the cap is made completely of silicone. Add to this the fact that it is completely non-porous, and cleaning is a total breeze. Practically any way that you'd like to clean it, within reason, is fine. Lather it up with warm, soapy water and you're ready to go. Boil it in water to sterilize it, and it'll be good as new. With toys like this, you can even place them in the dishwasher, though I'm not a fan of this method myself.

Because the cap is silicone, it's not recommended to use silicone lube with it. Rather, if you're a fan of that slippery experience while messing around, simply get out your favorite water based lube and you're set.

As for storage of the cap, we haven't taken it off of the Hitachi since we first put it on, so it's just living with the wand in one of our drawers. However, if you'd like to remove it between uses (which I don't particularly recommend, unless you're planning on using different heads) you could easily store it in the original packaging.

The product comes packaged in a simple plastic tube that is closed by a red plastic cap on each end. Just remove one of the ends to get to the product, as well as a small instruction sheet inside. The instruction sheet simply gives directions as to how to "install" the cap on your Hitachi wand. The packaging is fairly discreet, despite the fact that it is transparent, displaying the product inside.



Since we got this cap, we have not taken it off of our Hitachi, so have not had the need to store it separately from the wand. However, if you chose to remove it from the wand after each use (I wouldn't personally recommend this, due to the difficulty factor) you could easily use the packaging for storage.

The one thing that made me raise my eyebrows a bit at first was the idea of removing the original cap from the Hitachi wand. I had never done this before, and I wasn't sure how difficult it would be. It turns out that it really wasn't much of a big deal at all. To do this, simply grip the head of the Hitachi wand firmly and pull back, while slightly pulling to one side. As I was doing this, I took care to not twist the head, as I didn't want to damage the neck at all. Additionally, I should mentioned again that I have not taken this off since installing it on the Hitachi the first time. My wife and I love this cap so much that we haven't even considered putting the original head back on. Why get rid of such a good thing?
