Finding the best anal douche?

I love anal and what to stay as healthy as possible doing so. I know lots of water and practice help tons, but so does a regular cleaning. I've heard once a day is good (I think SEXIS had a good article recently) but I'm not sure what to keep in mind when buying an anal douche. I've heard a lot about keeping it sterile? What's most important though?

Engaging topic analysis of Anal douche:

Enemas: Are They Necessary?
Some people view enemas as a necessary precursor to anal play. Others believe that butt stuff is never perfectly clean, so why bother? Photo Credit

enema?
Is it worth having an enema before anal play

If you use an enema bag with a nozzle, do you just use store bought or special nozzels for anal play?
Apparently there are a bunch of historic and antique nozzles for anal enema play, besides the cheap plastic black nozzle that comes with a drug store.

DO YOU USE ENEMAS before serious anal play? If so, what formula do you use?
Alright, this issue keeps coming up here at EF. We are of the mind (and know medically) that the anus and rectum are pretty clear if you don't need to

How often do you douche before anal play?
I'm trying to get a feel for how often in appropriate to douche before anal play. I do douche almost every time, but is that common?

I've heard that you don't want to do an anal douche daily. I'd save it for just the times that you're planning on having anal sex.

I got the Ultra douche, haven't tried it yet but I think it will work out well. I was disappointed that really none of the douches offered can be sterilized. The Fetish Elite Unisex might be your best bet if you want to sterilize it, since the plastic wont really harbor bacteria and can be washed with anti-bacterial soap, and the silicone bulb can be boiled.

I use the small, inexpensive ones you can buy at the pharmacy. I empty out the solution and use plain water. I like it because it's not a lot of volume and I can always do another one if need be.

I use it pretty often and haven't had any problems.

My biggest worry with different anal douche/enema kits (and yes, there is a difference) is that some of the shoddier products aren't as smooth as others. Jagged edges in my most private of holes is a no go.

I just ordered the new booty call booty blaster, which I believe (It isn't here yet) is a silicone insertable portion (which means it should be boilable) and a plastic "douche bag" so to speak. The idea of a silicone tip is much MUCH more appealing to me than a plastic one that might not be smoothed down after the manufacturing process.

Did you add it to the EdenShouldCarry Forum? I'd like to see that offered on here! I'm curious about the plastic portion of the "booty blaster", how well does that squeeze?
