All of mine have been what was ordered/pictured but I ordered mine when they (SSA Glass) first came to EF.

Mine have mostly looked like the picture. As Dwtim also mentioned, I got most of them when SSA Glass first appeared on Eden and it seems as if they have been changing some of their pieces. The only difference I have experienced is maybe having one or two nubs less than shown or on one piece I had clear nubs instead of the blue ones pictured. These changes were nothing that would have changed how the toy felt compared to what other reviewers discussed.

Remember, they are made by hand and anything handmade will have small differences throughout the product line.

I only have one glass toy (not counting that 8 oz Coca Cola Bottle ) and it's from Don Wands, and it is exactly like the picture.
It's a great toy!

I've had success with my SSA orders. Maybe the color was a bit different, or maybe a couple of slight variations, but nothing like some have had - it never looked like a totally different toy. I think the problem comes from the fact that yes, they are hand made, and also I think sometimes the company has changed the actual design, but the photos haven't been updated. EF went through not too long ago and updated the photos on several items where this had been reported.

I have 3 and they were all exactly as pictured. The last time I got one was December though, so the quality may have changed since then.

I ordered two SSA glass dildos recently when they went on sale. The Gold Laced G looked pretty much exactly like the picture, it was just a bit smaller than I had thought it would be. (Though if I'd paid attention to the dimensions listed I wouldn't have been surprised.) The Blossom G did look somewhat different than the picture. It only had nubs on half of its length, and the flowers in the ends were different colors than in the picture. Fortunately, I actually liked the colors I got better than those pictured. So it worked out well for me. I would have been pissed if they had been colors that I didn't like.

I've noticed slight differences in shape/color/texture but nothing too crazy different.
The thing I'm most disappointed in is that their recent pouch quality is much lower than I've seen in many reviews.

I got all of my SSA Glass toys when they first came out (or pretty close to when they first came out). I think the discrepancies became a problem later on.

My review on the Midnight Twist goes into exactly how much it differed from the dildo pictured, which was extremely. The Blossom G I received had some issues, but no more than I'd expect for something hand-made.

I've not had issues but as they are hand blown vs manufactured en masse some deviations should be expected. Are you able to post pics?

I don't know if anyone's still looking at this thread, but just thought I'd weigh in.
I bought the Honey Wand (Certain toys more problematic than others? It'd be great to know if this applies more to one type of toy than another.) in early 2012 (Maybe the problems have been resolved since first poster?), and it looked exactly like it did in the featured photo. No complaints.
It would be interesting to see how this turns out!
