Is it really worth it to spend so much on a glass dildo?

Some of these on here I've seen for a couple hundred dollars...they look AMAZING, but I don't know if I could really spend so much on one.

Are they worth it?

Okay, so, here's an anecdotal story for you:

I NEED vibration in a toy. I never bought anything that didn't vibrate, because frankly, if it didn't vibrate, I'd just as soon have the real thing. Then one time I had a bunch of points built up, and didn't want anything in particular, but bought one of the $25 glass toys just because it was pretty. I freaking LOVE it now. There is just something about the fullness, hardness, and heaviness that is indescribable. I can't speak for the expensive ones, because in my mind, glass is glass.... so I don't know about that... but I can surely say that it's worth getting a few of the cheaper ones. I have 3 now, and I love them.

I think that in order to spend so much on one, it would have to be able to pass as an art piece on the mantle without raising too many eyebrows.

Glass is glass, so if a more expensive design appeals to you, you have to decide if you want to pay that much. Personally, if I saw an amazing glass toy that was $100 or so, I'd seriously consider it.

I'm not sure if they feel better, but I'm willing to be that at least some of them are expensive because of the time put into making them -- and I'm pretty sure a lot of glass toys are made by hand. And just like any other handcrafted item, you're paying for the labor as well as the product itself.

There are tons of very affordable glass toys - no need to pay hundreds. When I first started buying them I did pay upwards of $200 - no more. You can get everything you need for about $25-$50.
