I was referring a little more towards the sensation of the hair growing back in than any problems with the shaving itself (though there are several posts about that throughout this thread) As much as I lovee my husband, I don't think I'd let him down there with a razor of any sort: way too delicate an area to be relying on someone else's steady (or not) hand.

I voted I shave the labia but leave a lil' patch. I actually get a Brazilian and I leave a lil landing strip or a triangle depending on my mood. I've been getting waxed for 10 years at the same salon so they know my preferences and they do an amazingly painless job. My mother insisted that my 2 sisters and I get waxed opposed to shaving. Why? who knows.. my mother is what you call a fashionista or cougar and I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. I love her for that too!

I used to shave because the guy I was dating (now my husband, actually) liked it. But then he was gone on a 5-month research trip and it was just me and the vibrator. I didn't have to shave, and I realized I LIKED it that way. So I quit shaving. I just like the look of a full bush better, and honestly, I hate shaving - it's a waste of my time. Boyfriend was a little weirded out at first, but we've been together for 5 years, so clearly it wasn't an issue. Some of the other guys I sleep with are weird about it, but that's not my problem.

I shave all of it. I have absolutely no hair. I’m not against it; I actually grow it out sometimes. My dominant and I are long distance so when I’m not motivated to do so I don't. I prefer the skin on skin feeling when I masturbate but that could just be me.

I shave everything except the labia. Totally shave my bikini line and pubic mound, and then just trim the rest of the hair with scissors. I've shaved completely bald twice before and totally hated it. Even when it was just done and nice and smooth, I didn't like how it felt. I also didn't like how it looked at all. Neat and trimmed is much more appealing, aesthetically and physically, in my opinion.

I used to shave everything until I realized how ridiculously mouth-like it looked :/
Now I leave a little tuft in the middle, sometimes even cut it into a little heart shape. (Note: if you attempt this pattern and your significant other goes down on you, it WILL make he/she look like Hitler. When I shave I shave it all, but I really prefer not to shave at all. I rather like having the hair. My partner likes when there is nothing left at all, so sometimes he gets what he wants and some months i get what i want.

I keep things tidy, and sometimes to amuse myself I'll trim down to a landing strip. I don't like to be all bare though, not a fan of the look, and won't do it just for a guy.

I don't like to have pubic hair especially when sexually active. I shave even tho, I don't really need to because the hair is really thin from chemo. That was one of my favorite things about chemo is I didn't have to shave.

I'm like Big Foot..also, FYI: From a medical standpoint, the pubic hair is designed to act somewhat like eyelashes do. Keep dirt and bacteria out of the area. So, while trimming would be okay, shaving really ISN'T physically healthy..this comes from my Gyno. You can really get severe infections/MRSA/horrib le razor burn not to mention ingrown hairs that can lead to boils and such..Trim? Yes. Shave? No.

Although I trim, I usually leave some short hair on my Labia Majora, because the idea of a razor near my inner labia or clitoris makes me tres nervous!

My Man couldn't care less, he likes hair, he likes it the way I wear it, HE realizes is isn't' HIS body, it's mine and that it has very little impact, either way, on real, honest hot sex. To each their own, but I think people should give their LOVERS the benefit of the doubt and let THEM choose what they do to their bodies. I have to wonder about the "fear of pubic hair" and the fear of a strong, ADULT woman, in guys who are frightened of a little bush. After decades of shaving almost every day, I had every single centimeter of it(labia,mound,even the crack of my ass)treated by laser hair removal and I am thrilled, so is the husband. Smoother than a newborn babies butt. (note--a good side effect of the laser for me...it actually lightened up the darker labia skin a bit.My esthetician said it does that to some people.) Had laser hair removal treatments for under the arms as well. Don't need it on my legs since I really don't have but 10-20 hairs on both legs combined and I can pluck them out with tweezers in about 10 minutes and be smooth for a month.I don't care if "styles" change, for me, having laser hair removal was one of the best things I did. After all, it is MY body and I don't have to answer to anyone else about what I do to my body.

I used to hate shaving, and I would keep it trimmed, but when i finally got around to shaving- for the boyfriend, I didn't stop. It feels cleaner. But the itch is terrible when the hair starts to grow back. If it didn't scare the daylights out of me, I'd wax.

I'm going to say "other." I'm all about the brazilians! I used to shave but that's a pain and it's somewhat uncomfortable when all the hair is growing back. I have an awesome esthetician and she waxes me and the hair grows back thinner. I'm even starting to get baldish patches!

I dont like to shave all the way because I always miss a spot. Plus when it grows back for me, it gets very itchy inside there. I like to shave everything except my "landing strip." But I have hair trimmers that I use on the lowest guard setting and I trim that. I use a #1 guard and it makes the hair really short but not to the point where its prickly. I hate prickly!
