I'm female and don't like it completely bare personally. I always leave some hair. My man doesn't care one way or the other, but it makes me feel sexy, so I do it!

My man prefers if this way aswell (likes a little something), and so does my skin ...I find when I shave everything off, my pubic mound gets very itchy, sore, and irritated from shaving... so I avoid that for the most part.

I started shaving it all off when I was 12 and first started aunt flow. I think pubic hair is nasty, i mean if a guy dose oral hes gonna be flossing later.

I do not think that a girl should be completely shaved down there because that takes a lot of time. As long as it is kept nice and clean, I am perfectly fine about it.

I shave but I started getting laser treatments this year. I'm thinking of leaving a 'landing strip' on top though, just to mix things up a bit.

I use an epilator, and tweezers to touch up. Keeps it from being pokey and is quite relaxing for me.

Actually, I know ladies shave down there yet I have never been able to do it. I mean I tried, because i think we all want to be just a bit neater down there but the horrible itching that comes later is not worth it at all.

I've been shaving as long as I can remember. It was kind of ironic when I was diagnosed with PCOS last year, and my OBGYN said it was good that I did, because they can see the a lot of the malformations a lot better..
I never liked the look of pubic hair, anyway. I prefer the guy at least keeps it trimmed, I'd rather not have a bush attacking me. o_o

I shave it all off. And as for why I do it, well, I could go into all these different reasons, but the bottom line (and the only reason I feel necessary to give anyone) is simply this: I do it because I want to. I don't judge anyone for choosing not to, but I am constantly amazed at the number of people who feel free to judge people who do choose to shave completely. If they're not your genitals, you don't get a damn say.
Which leads me to what I prefer in others: whatever they prefer is fine with me. Yes, I'll admit that I do appreciate some grooming, but if someone chooses not to, I'm not going to tell them they're "wrong".

Trim it short to keep it neat, sometimes shave just my lower lips. I've shaved bare three times, and while it is an interesting sensation, the look doesn't appeal to me, and the itch while it grows back drives me nuts.

Sometimes I will shave on the outer labia but, usually it's just kept extra short.
Even when I tried waxing I got terrible ingrown hairs and itchy irritated bumps within 3-4 hours after getting waxed. Tweezing by hand (my bikini area mostly) was way better and less irritating than waxing. But, that is *really* time consuming.

...I've always been rather intrigued by this idea that apparently pubic hair = adult; frankly, it's been one of the more annoying reasons people have used for judging me when they find out I shave. 'OMG why would you want to make yourself look like a little girl?'
I just don't...get it. I'm 30 years old. I have hips. I have breasts. I don't need pubic hair to convince people that, yes, I really am an adult.
Not questioning your opinion, of course. I just find it really, really interesting that 99% of the people I've ever talked to who are against pubic shaving cite that as a reason, when I just don't...get it. If someone needs pubic hair on their partner to remind them they're with an adult and not a child, the problem's not with the person who shaves.

Keep it trimmed and neat but never completely shaved - can't stand the stubble when it starts to grow back and not a fan of the upkeep required to avoid it. I don't really have a preference on my partner as long as they have it at least trimmed it's all good!

I've gone back and forth on this, shaved, trimmed, etc. For me, it's always about what my partner likes best. Right now I'm with a man who likes it bald, so that's what I do! He does the same for me, fair's fair, right?
