When you get the Sapphire Falls from SSA Glass it will be wrapped in brown paper with tape. Once you unwrap it you will find the red velvety black drawstring bag. Inside the bag is the dildo which is wrapped in bubble wrap. I have noticed that the red velvet material comes off in little pieces so be sure to wash the toy before each use to avoid getting those little material pieces inside you. I have the blue version. It doesn't smell or taste of anything.

The dildo itself is a beautiful dark blue color and it's made of 7 hard glass balls of various sizes connected in size order. The largest ball at the base is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Then we have the following diameter sizes in descending order to the tip: 1 1/4 inches, 1 1/8 inches, 1 1/8 inches, 1 1/8 inches, 1 inch, 1 inch, and finally the tip which is about 1 inch. It measures a total of about 6 1/2 inches long. You can use the larger size or the smaller size if you like. While it hasn't worked for me the dildo is also slightly curved for help with finding the g-spot. It looks a lot like my Icicles No.2. Here's a comparison picture showing them side by side.


The glass is cool to the touch but warms up once it's inside and it's great for temperature play. For a cooling sensation, you can chill it under cold water or put it in the freezer for a while. For a warming sensation, you can place it under warm water or put it in the microwave. As with all glass I would avoid extreme temperature changes for fear of breaking. It feels solid in your hands but not heavy or awkward at all. The glass is super smooth and just feels great sliding around. This toy can be used with any lube and is extremely easy to clean. To clean just use soap and water, toy wipes or pop it in the dishwasher. I exclusively use this toy vaginally because I haven't tried anal yet. All in all I would highly recommend this product as an alternative to Icicles No.2.
