Sapphire Bubbles

The Sapphire Falls is what all glass toys should be. It is smooth, graceful, lovely to look at as well as play with and substantial enough to give a great ride. It's bubbles provide a great popping sensation when used either vaginally or anally.

extremely useful review
I love glass toys because of the incredible colors that can be achieved and the translucence of them. The Sapphire falls by SSA Glass is a perfect example of this, it should be displayed proudly with proper back lighting! I have this dream that one day I will be able to have a lighted hutch in my bedroom where all my glass, metal, ceramic and wooden toys are displayed.

The Sapphire Falls is composed of 7 bubbles of beautiful sapphire blue colored glass. The bubbles gradually increase in size from the tip to the last bubble which can act as a handle or an exciting double ended dildo. Let me say again, this toy is BEAUTIFUL, it is a deep blue that almost looks black until it is held up to the light and then it is a bright, jewel tone blue that shimmers. Add in the graceful, curving stacking of the bubbles and you have a toy that is a shame to hide away in a drawer. The top bubble is about 3 inches around and the bubbles gradually increase in size until at the last bubble it is around 5 inches. It is about 6.5 inches in length making it just long enough to fit comfortably in the hand and not too slender or too girth-y. It weighs in at about 13 oz making it feel very substantial but not overly heavy.

The gentle curve of the Sapphire Falls makes it an amazing G spotter! It can provide some perfect pinpoint pressure and it is substantial enough to be able to apply quite a lot of pressure and not too heavy to allow some pressure with the ability to make the small circles so many of us love. You can use the larger bubble of the 'handle' if you like less pinpoint pressure or have a very sensitive cervix. This is a rigid toy and can cause some bruising internally if you thrust it too vigorously.

The Sapphire Falls is great for temperature play, as it will hold either heat or cold admirably and heats up or cools down quickly. Please be sure to test the toy on the inside of your elbow before applying it to the sensitive tissues of your vagina or anus. A burn would really hurt in either of these areas! I suggest a bowl of warm, not hot, water for heat play and a bowl of ice water for cold play.

The toy is actually made to be an anal insertable toy and does provide ample area to grasp the toy firmly but it gets super slick with lube so be very careful. The last bubble of the toy should be sufficient to prevent it from sliding all the way in but for some people this might not be the case. The curve is not pronounced enough to prevent the toy from puling a disappearing act on you. The bubbles provide a lovely popping sensation but don't provide a well defined area for the anus to rest. This isn't a toy you would be able to insert and forget since the base isn't flared enough and it would be uncomfortable, and possibly dangerous, to sit on.

The Sapphire Falls can be used with any lube you prefer to use and gets incredibly slick so use a small amount to prevent it from becoming a game of greased dildo! Unless you like a good game of catch the glass dildo before it falls on the floor...I dunno could be fun.
This is a glass toy so it's completely non-porous and can be cleaned with hot water and mild soap, boiling, washing in the dishwasher (top rack no detergent), sprayed with a 10% bleach and water solution, or a commercial toy cleaner. Watch for cracking, chipping and other indications of wear and tear and take care when cleaning in a ceramic sink as dropping the toy inside such a sink could damage it, though it's pretty unlikely. This toy is made of Pyrex brand borosilicate glass which is very durable and can handle even extreme temperature play.
Follow-up commentary
How could anyone not love this beautiful piece of glass? As long as you rememebr that glass can hurt if thrust too vigorously into the vagina or anus this piece will last you for quite a long time. In all the use I have never found any chips, cracks or breakage of any kind even after my clumsy and rushed cleanings in my porceline sink.

Yeah that's the real pain in the ass about G spotting, this works amazingly for me but my G spot is an attention whore and easily found. For the shyer G spots out there or the ones that need more coaxing this won't be as amazing. Still it is a prety sweet little anal toy!

So I see you've got both the Sapphire Falls and Emerald Explorer---which one do you like better? Which bubble along the SF are the EE beads equivalent to? I'm leaning toward this one because of the graduated sizes, but I haven't made up my mind yet. The colors of both are so rich, too...

Thanks for the review, I'm been looking at this one for a while. It looks like so much fun! I love things with bulbs/balls

@Antipova: The Emerald Explorer has very large beads or bubbles and it is straight in a line, all the bubbles are the same size. I would say the last bubble of the SF is just a tad bit larger than the bubbles of the EE. They are actually very similar in terms of size though the SF looks a but smaller due to the optical illusion of the more opaque glass of the SF. I would recommend buying both if you get the chance or the go on sale, the graduated curve of the SF is amazing though...
