A gentle beginning
This is what a person buys when they're not sure if want to try butt toys. Buy one of these, give it plenty of lube and see if you like the feel. If so, have fun and enjoy knowing that when you advance to new toys, you'll be more prepared by starting here, rather than buying a Kong right off the bat.

Pros
Cheap, easy, safe and isn't intimidating.
Cons
Gets old quickly, doesn't vibrate
With a 1" diameter and a length of 4 1/2", the smooth, gliding sensation of the Lil’ End offers a gentle introduction to anal toys. Comfortable when inserted, filling, safe to use and easy to clean, it is perfect for beginners. Even as the toy enthusiast quickly outgrows it, the $10.00 price tag makes it easily warranted.
The Lil’ End has such a thin circumference, barely larger than two fingers, that penetration is gentle with even a modicum of lubrication. Once inserted, it offers the sensation of anal insertion with neither pain, nor the intimidation of other toys. The best use for this toy is not for great pleasure, but to try anal sensation and stretch out the anus, if larger, more fulfilling toys are desired.
Not that this toy doesn’t provide pleasure. Once inserted, a steady wiggle of the base, either by a partner, or just the other hand provides a tingling to accompany masturbation and enhances climaxes. If both hands are busy, sitting upon it and clenching and releasing the sphincter muscles offers a similar tingling, while giving the feel of a filled anus.
The safety features also make it perfect for beginners. The colon is a suction machine, capable of drawing up most anything placed within, if not watched properly. The Lil End’s wide base prevents sucking, making it one of the few toys that are better because sucking is prevented.
As this is a silicone toy, a water based lubricant is recommended. While numerous lubricants are probably offered on Eden, personally, I use Walmart's "Personal Lubricant Jelly." A 4 0Z bottle is only a few dollars, has no odors and isn't greasy.
The material ranks ten out of ten for safety, meaning there are few risks of breakage and if it does break, the material is neither toxic, nor capable of cutting or tearing the skin. A special cleaner is recommended for toys (I use Climax Outbursts) and especially anal toys, these are being used where fecal matter is removed. Cleanliness matters. For those who do not have cleaners, copious amounts of soap and hot water work as well.
Its small size makes it a wonder for travel or storage, fitting inconspicuously into a box, purse, backpack or suitcase without taking up much room. When storing or transporting it, as with any toy, take care. A lock box is an especially secure storage method and if transporting it, keep it wrapped up or in a box.
The biggest disadvantage to the Lil End is that it becomes boring rather quickly. Once the novelty of anal penetration and filling has worn off, a user may desire a larger toy and/or one that vibrates. This is fine however, as ten dollars is a fair price to ready oneself for further assploration.
While it has a short half-life, the Lil’ End, provides a cheap, safe and easy introduction into the world of anal play. With a little lube, it can be used by even the tightest of ends, while producing the extra kicker to a climax. Just remember to keep it clean and give it a special section in your sex toy chest when moving on to bigger and more vibrating butt toys.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
It's not so much that I don't like it, as I've moved on. The small shape makes it hard to keep inside one's colon, in fact it slips out constantly. While Lil' End serves its purpose, introduction to anal play, after moving on there's little reason to go back. Still, I'll probably keep it for sentimental reasons, as it was my first toy.

For a first review, not using the advanced review template, this one is awesome! You did a very good job. Although, everyone always leaves a few points out. Here are a few you missed, just for pointers: You mentioned using lube and a brand you commonly use (great idea), next time add if its water or silicone based, etc. What exactly is the material of this toy(there's a 'materials' link on the product page that tells you all about the material and how to clean it along with some other info like how to store which should also be added too)? Can ya use it in the water, travel friendly, discreet? All these things would be easier to remember if you use the advanced review template . My first review was nowhere near this good, though. You're going to be awesome! Followed!
