The li'l end - butt plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Jack M.

One day, I woke up with the pressing urge to put things in my butt, so I went out and acquired this toy. This is the first butt plug, and in fact one of the first sex toys, I ever bought for myself.

The Li'l End is indeed li'l - not much thicker than the width of a finger. This, along with the smooth, flexible silicone, makes it perfect for butt-play neophytes. The flared base is definitely wide enough that you don't have to worry about it disappearing anywhere, and it provides some decent suction to keep it stable during play.

Being such a small toy, those who are more experienced or require something more filling will probably find it useless.

The hypo-allergenic, non-porous silicone of the Li'l End is somewhat squishy and very flexible. I have the grey version, which has a smokey, swirly pattern on it, and is slightly glittery.






The silicone has no taste or odour to it whatsoever, and is easy to sterilize, because who wants nasty germs and chemicals in their orifices? The sterilizable nature of the product means you can share it with partners, as long as you wash it first.

The size and shape of the Li'l End is very comfortable, and a little lube makes insertion a breeze.

With an insertable length of 3-3/4" and a diameter of about 1", it's not much thicker or longer than a human finger. So if you've had fingers up your butt and enjoyed it, this will be a little step up. However, it may not be long until you want something more. There's no texture or interesting bulges or what have you, so you can't do much more than wiggle it a bit for some sensation.

Total length is 4 1/2", while the total circumference is 3 1/4".

My favorite way to use this toy is in tandem with my rabbit vibrator. It provides a little extra sensation in the back door while I'm going to town with the vibrator. I haven't had the opportunity to use it with a partner yet, although that could be fun. I can't imagine it being a good size for harness play, though. There are longer toys for that.

The base seems to suck onto any smooth, clean surface, so whack it onto a table or the floor and have at it.

Perhaps the only aspect of the toy that is a let down is the fact that it will. Not. Stay. In. Unless I'm sitting on it or holding it in my hand. For the price, though, and for a beginner toy, this isn't terribly important.

The Li'l End is made of high quality silicone, and as such, is very easy to care for - simply boil it for three minutes, whack it in your dishwasher, or use warm water and soap after using it. It does not seem to attract lint like some other silicone toys.

Its small size makes it easy to store - I keep mine in a plastic Ziploc bag. Silicone toys should not be stored in a way that leaves them prone to touching each other, because this can damage the silicone.

A little bit of water-based lube goes a long way with this toy. As always, silicone should only be used with water-based lubes - silicone lube will murder your silicone toy.

The first time I used the Li'l End, it slid in easily without any fuss, discomfort, or pain. Wiggling it around and thrusting it a bit provided some nice sensation. I wasn't catapulted to heights of staggering ecstasy, but I didn't really need that from a beginner butt toy.

In combination with my vibrator, I've gotten a year or so of fabulous orgasms out of it, and I'm starting to look into bigger and more interestingly-shaped toys.
