We purchased this toy for anal play after I was able to successfully (and enjoyably) fist my partner several times. I hoped to use it in place of my fist so I could have my hands free and my partner could enjoy the same sensations during intercourse. After measuring my first and finding it similar to the advertised 7 1/2 inches circumference that is in the description of the A-bomb, I figured it was the right size and could be used comfortably by my partner. We first tried to use it after working up to fisting, and even after a long warm-up, my partner said it felt MUCH bigger than my first and was very difficult for to insert. As such, the A-Bomb could be used as a next step up from fisting, and is definitely suited for more advanced users.

So far we have not been able to keep the plug in for very extended periods of time, so we haven't had the chance to use it during intercourse and I think it'll take much practice to do so. However, once we work up to it, I imagine it will be VERY intense!

The A-Bomb is made out of a velvety black 100% silicone. It has a little give to it, but not too much. Due to the color and material, it seems to collect a fair amount of lint and dust. Because it is made out of silicone, this toy is not compatible with silicone-based lubes.

The A-Bomb does not have the classic, gradually tapered shape of traditional plugs. Rather, its widest part is at its center, giving it a more diamond-like shape with a slim neck. This presented a problem for me as I was attempting to insert it: after reaching the widest part of the plug, it can get quickly sucked up into the anus due to the tapering towards the base. This was an unpleasant sensation for my partner because it was unexpected and because the plug is so big. The base was not wide enough for me to hold on to very well, so it was difficult to prevent this from happening. I found that the best way to prevent this was for me to set down the plug on a hard surface, "anchor" it with my hands and have my partner sit on it - not an easy feat, as my partner had to put his whole weight on it to insert it.

Due to its size and shape, the A-Bomb is definitely for advanced users.

After reading reviews and comments about this toy, I thought that it could be used in place of fisting, but it turned out to be a lot bigger than expected. My partner was hardly able to get it in after warming up with fisting, so we might purchase a smaller plug for this use until we're ready to try the A-Bomb again.

Since it is 100% silicone, this toy is easy to sterilize in the dishwasher or by dipping in boiling water for a short period of time. Soap and water seems to work fine as well, but I make it a habit to sterilize all anal toys when possible.

The A-Bomb is one toy we definitely need to keep under wraps. It is not a discreet toy at all since it's huge, black, and pretty obviously an anal plug. It's easy enough to throw in a storage box or drawer, just don't forget and leave it out!
