Review of A-bomb - Butt plug discontinued

This toy is one of the largest plugs that Tantus offers. The circumference allows for the toy to be used for prostate stimulation when fully inserted, but also allows for a significant stretching/gaping sensation when used for thrusting. I purchased this toy primarily because I find myself craving the feel of being opened wide by a large toy. It will probably take most users some time to accommodate this plug, so I would consider it a "session" plug, rather than a quick use plug. I was pleased to discover the pleasure it can provide during sex as well, due to movement and pressure on the prostate. I think this toy could be a warm-up for fisting, depending on hand size.

The A-bomb is constructed of the same firm, matte texture silicone that is used in Tantus's Cowboy line of toys. I also own the Ringo and the material feels almost exactly the same between the two of them, but the A-bomb is firmer. Compared to glossy Tantus toys, like the Severin line, the A-bomb is much firmer. I think the matte texture helps to hold lube better than glossy toys and it also seems that the texture helps provide more sphincter stimulation during insertion.

The A-bomb is designed for advanced users who know they are craving a large size without some of the other aspects of extreme toys, like crazy bumps, abrupt circumference changes, etc. The tip starts out at 1" but the smooth curves of this toy make the large size much easy to accept than I initially thought. The toy is pretty much symmetrical, discounting the base. My A-bomb measures about 7.85" max circumference, which is larger than the product info lists. The neck narrows to about 5.10" circumference, which feels pretty small after you've ridden over the bulge. I wish the neck was thicker, but one benefit of it dropping down so much is that the plug is really easy to twist and rotate once it's inserted. The base of this toy is the most comfortable of any of my plugs. It nestles perfectly between my cheeks, is comfortable for hours and easy to hold when inserting and removing. I wish that the Ringo had a base this comfortable. Weighing in at 11.5 oz also makes this plugs presence fully known.

The A-bomb performs awesomely. I anticipated using this plug primarily to achieve a stretching sensation when inserting and a feeling of fullness once in place. It delivered in those areas, but I wish that the neck was more like 6.28" circumference to provide more stretching when fully inserted. I discovered that a use that I enjoy most with the A-bomb is thrusting it in and out giving my sphincters a royal treat. I have had some of the most powerful orgasms while enjoying the sensation of a nearly 8" circumference stretch. I have also found the ability to manipulate this toy hands-free during sex to be particularly draining too.

The silicone construction of this toy means that silicone lubes should not be used with it. I have used both Maximus and Probe lubes with the A-bomb and they worked very well. Clean-up is easy with soap and water and this toy can be disinfected if desired. Like other silicone toys, dust, lint and hair can cling to the surface, but that's not really an issue for me.

I purchased the A-bomb at the same time as the Ringo, both in the aim of a stretching and filling experience. The A-bomb was my largest size toy, so I also felt the Ringo would be beneficial for warm-up. My first experiences involved the Severin Medium for initial warm-up, then a period of resting on the wide neck of the Ringo. Despite the warm-up with the Ringo and my level of arousal when inserting the A-bomb, the first two experiences were more of a challenge than I thought they would be. I shot 5 mL of Maximus once loosened up, but the insertion was still uncomfortable and slightly painful. I successfully inserted the toy fully each time that I tried, feeling a little overwhelmed when it was all the way in. The first couple of times I removed the toy were the real challenge. I wondered if I was taking on more than I could handle and I hoped that it would get easier.

Lucky for me, the A-bomb has gotten much easier! I experimented with a different warm-up plan. I started with the Severin Medium again, but moved to the Severin Large from there. I really enjoy thrusting the large bulge of the Large and find that it really loosens me up. Because the taper to the large bulge on the Severin Large is more accelerated, I think it's more effective at loosening me than the Ringo. This was a surprise, but has proven incredibly effective. The first 1/2 of the ride to the bulge of the A-bomb is easy at that point and by tightening and loosening my sphincter muscles, I can "swallow" up the rest. That sensation of sucking in the A-bomb over its largest point is incredible. By that point it's only moments later until I thrust it in and out fully.
