Challenging for Intermediate User(s)

Longer warm-ups, relax, breath and a little bit of liquid courage are what I need in my next trial.

I would suggest to anyone who is interested in the A-Bomb, try to play with a 1.8 to 2.0 inch wide sharp tip plug to gain some "routine" before going for the 2 1/4 inch wide A-Bomb.

It's definitely a big jump from any 1.5 inch wide plugs.

Pros
Fulfilling. A statue for advanced users.
Cons
But too challenging for intermediate user(s) like yours truly

useful review
When I first got into anal toys, I jumped right into prostate massagers. The reasons are simple: quality, silicone-made, size, and back with scientific designs and rave reviews. After a year or so, I realized my anus is perhaps too tight for any massagers to work effectively on my prostate. There I am, back to the plugs.

I have had pleasure with the 1.5 inch wide B-Bomb from Tantus and other med-size toys - as a self-proclaimed intermediate user - I went for an upgrade by ordering "The" A-Bomb. I was amazed by the quality when it came in. It is seamless and beyond well made. It is soft, smooth and firm. It's made of silicone and non-porous, which are the basic selection criteria that I have set for sex toy shopping. So far it seems durable. There are a few times I got frustrated and bent the "neck" part like 60 degrees or so, but it just bounced back and stayed in shape. I also found the matte finishing less intimidating than rubber, plastic, glass and metal. It comes in red so it helps too.

The 4 1/2 inch long design is good for any short-ish person who doesn't enjoy longer plugs (>5 inches), which is also the reason I decided to give A-Bomb a shot.

I have had several sessions with the A-Bomb and had mixed results. I tried kneeing on the floor and insert it from behind, placing it on the side of my bathtub and sit on it, and getting in the "spider-man ready-to-jump" position and insert it from the front. So far sitting with twisting work the best for me, but I just couldn't pass the widest part. The blunt tip makes the A-Bomb a bit harder to guide during solo. It slides along my butt crack a lot.

But after all, I made progress every time I tried.
Experience
Sitting on the A-Bomb with my hand twisting seems like the way to go. After working with the A-Bomb for nights, I decided to order the medium Tantus Severin for practice and warm-ups.
Follow-up commentary
I bought the Tantus Severin medium after several unsuccessful attempts on the A-bomb. I am able to play with the Severin with pleasure and now I feel I am more able to control my muscle.

Last week, after one hot session with the Severin medium, I took out my A-bomb, lubed it, put it on the side of the bath tub and sat on it. Still, I got half of it in but I couldn't pass the widest point. But the encouraging news is that, instead of feeling pain, now I feel I am just too tight.

I bought a plug that I was not ready for. But the A-Bomb is still in my toy box and on my to-do list.

What lube is safe to use with this toy? How do you clean it? Does it come in discreet packaging? Can the packaging be used to store the toy in? If you get a chance, check out the mentor program and the extended review format, the mentor program is free and it's a fun, helpful way to dive right into reviews! The part about the spider man jump made me giggle. Sounds like this is a great toy but one that you'd have to work up to, Tantus makes great products. Nice review! That is certainly a large plug. The Severin medium might be a better warm up than a 1.5" diameter plug. Thanks for all your detail in attempting to get it in. Thanks for the review.
