The beads are large enough that they can be used anally or vaginally. I found both very enjoyable, though they may not be the best thing for someone who has never done any type of anal play. They can be used by men or women, though the colors and packaging are definitely geared towards women. The only precaution I would give is if using them anally, you'll want to use lubricant.

The material is both scent-free and tasteless for the most part. The beads are super smooth and hard. The texture is not an issue for any experience level, though the size might be. The beads are on a nylon string, which is smooth; though some knots may have a rough edge (probably from glue or something), so be careful and check it out. I didn't have an issue with that, though others may. Nylon strings are super porous as it's fabric.

I liked the design and the overall shape. I liked that the beads themselves could move along their section of the cord, and that there was a good amount of cord between them so they could be inserted one by one. There are four beads on each string, and there is a ring at the end for extraction. The cord has a total length of 16", and each bead is a little over an inch in diameter. With some lube, the beads should be a good size for the average user. It may be uncomfortable for some if it is their first anal toy, though.

It was a good toy for anal stimulation, and would be a good "warm up" for a plug or a larger probe. Simply for safety, I would suggest that you pull them out slowly. On the end bead, the knot was a tad annoying during insertion, but none of the others were a problem.

I suggest washing these with warm water and soap after used. Slide the beads around to fully wash away any lingering fluids. Treat the cord as you would anything you're hand washing as it is fabric. The beads themselves are super easy to clean off. You can store them anyway you'd like, but I'd suggest storing them in the packaging.

They came in a clear plastic package that just snaps open easily. There's a card board insert featuring a nude woman. If you use the packaging to store the beads in, you may or may not wish to remove the insert. There are no care or use instructions on the insert. The ring pops into place and there are formed spots for each bead in the plastic packaging. The plastic easily snaps back together for storage.
