Excel is an apt description of this Pspot massager...because excel it does!

This a a marvelous prostate massager. While there are cons with this toy, I will say that it is so good at doing what it is designed to do that they are easy to ignore. This thing will rain orgasms all over your pspot.

Use

The Nexus Excel is a prostate massager that is conceptually quite similar to the Aneros line of prostate massagers, and more specifically the Progasm. I say this just because both are on the larger side as far as these toys are concerned. As a "hands free" massager, you manipulate this toy with your anal sphincter, PC muscles and abdominal muscles. When you get the hang of this, it will provide you with mind blowing orgasms.

As with all prostate massagers, I find that I go through a variety of positions throughout a session depending on how I feel. With the Excel I find that being on my hands and knees feels wonderful, as does lying on my side with my knees up slightly. Doing this keeps the perineum massager ball right where it needs to be, and I find that in this position I can basically "ride" the toy once my pspot becomes engorged. There is a tab that extends off the back of the toy that Nexus says is for manual manipulation, but I find that doing this generally detracts from the experience. I can imagine having a partner ply with it a little bit would be fun, but I haven't done that with this toy yet.

Even though the Excel is a little bit bigger than your average prostate massager, I would say that beginners could use this toy. The first couple of times might be a little uncomfortable, but on the other hand, this toy provides the most direct stimulation of the prostate of any toy that I have ever tried. In that light, I think that beginners would probably appreciate that they don't have to do much to have this contact, whereas lots of other toys have a steeper learning curve to that often frustratingly elusive super O.

Material / Texture

The excel is made from Polypropylene plastic. It has a textured surface that one would expect from this material, and I have to say that the texture feels pretty nice when sliding the toy in for some fun. The toy is hard, which provides solid contact with the pspot, and I generally like my prostate massagers to be hard like this. The plastic is nonporous and it lubes up quite nicely; it is also easy to clean.

Design / Shape / Size

The shape of this toy is very similar to other prostate massagers. Because we are dealing with basic anatomy here, there is a certain geometry that works, and the Excel is designed with this geometry in mind. Nexus decided to put a larger ball bearing ball in the perineum tab so as to provide comfortable and direct contact to the taint, and it generally does this well. I was dubious of this feature when I read about it, thinking that is was more of a gimmick than anything else, but I have found that it really is quite comfortable. I will say though, that the fact that the ball is free to move does not enhance its use because it means that it is more apt to roll off the taint to the side, which is not optimal. This is why I mentioned above that being on my side is a good position, because with my legs together, the perineum massager has no place to roll, and the toy stays centered.

As I said before, this toy provides the most direct prostate stimulation of any massager, plug, dildo or vibrator that I have stuck up my bum in order to have prostate orgasms. From my first use with the Excel on, I have had one crazy orgasm after another. For a toy that fills up the rectal cavity so much, it is surprisingly mobile, and it literally just grabs the prostate with the indentation between the bulged head and the larger bulge in the middle of the toy. As far as my anatomy is concerned, this toy is absolutely perfect when it comes to doing what it was designed to do. The effect is far less subtle than say an Aneros Eupho or MGX, both of which are terrific pspot orgasm machines themselves. To this end I think that this would make a great toy for someone who is either curious about exploring Pspot orgasms or for a guy who has tried massagers and has had limited success.

Performance

As a prostate massager that is designed to deliver awesome hands free super orgasms, this is a fabulous toy. I have been using it as often as I can since it arrived in the mail. That said, there are a couple of things that are not so great about the Excel. For one thing, all that direct contact with the pspot and perineum can make things uncomfortable when you're going for a traditional ejaculatory orgasm. I usually like to finish my pspot massaging sessions with a good ol' pump off, and my experience so far with the Excel in the department hasn't been as pleasurable as other massagers or plugs. I find that that same pressure that is so wonderful and effective for the prostate massage is just a little too much when I am having a regular orgasm. This doesn't really bother me too much though. I have just learned to switch to a different massager or plug following a hands free session with the Excel, and all is good. The other thing that I'm not a huge fan of is the way the manual manipulation tab is designed. Whereas the Aneros tabs hook upwards so that they sort of nestle in your butt cheeks, thus centering the toy, the Excel's tab curves the other way, and since it's much thicker and more solid than the Aneros analogue (please forgive the pun), you can get quite an unpleasant jolt of you sit on it directly, which is bound to happen at some point. I might be tempted to remove that tab at some point...we shall see. There is also a parting seam along the middle of the toy that remains from the molding process. Generally these are uncomfortable and bad, but I have not found it to be an issue at all. Since this is polypropylene, I would not attempt sanding or buffing the seam out, as my experience with this type of plastic professionally is that you'll just make a mess if you do this, and I think you will be very disappointed with the result.

Care and Maintenance

Being polypropylene, the Excel is quite easy to clean. Warm soapy water is all that is required, and the folks at Nexus provide a roller ball removal tool so that you can thoroughly clean the ball and clean the cavity that holds it. You can use water based lube, oil, or silicone with this massager, so your choice of lube is wide open. I have always found that thicker lubes are better than thinner ones when it comes to this sort of thing, but again you aren't limited with the Excel. Polypropylene is also very tough and elastic, so I doubt that dropping it on a hard surface would be a problem as would be the case with a glass, ceramic or acetal toy. When I'm finished using this toy and I have it all cleaned off, I toss it in my prostate fun basket ready for the next use.

Packaging

The Excel comes in a cool futuristic plastic case. Mine looked like it had been sitting around the warehouse for a while since there was some dust on the outside of the package, but other than that it was presented in a manner that made me want to get it in my ass ASAP. If you wanted to, you could use the box it came in as a storage container.
They provide a brief instruction pack that gives you some basic tips about how to get started, but to be honest, these are never really great guides. Having a pspot orgasm, or at least learning how, usually takes some time and involves a lot more than the simple instructions they give you. It certainly doesn't hurt to follow their directions though, but if you have experience with this sort of thing already, I'm more than certain that you'll know what to do once you slide this thing in!

Personal comments

I hope this review has come of as resoundingly positive. I think the Nexus Excel is one of the best prostate massagers around, and I look forward to many more orgasms courtesy of it in the future. Even though I have found that it is a little bit uncomfortable when having a traditional orgasm, I think that its effectiveness as a prostate massager, which is what it was designed as, far outweighs any negative aspects about the toy as far as discomfort is concerned. If I were to recommend a prostate massager to a friend that is curious, this would most certainly be the one I would direct them to. Yes it is on the larger side, but I think this toy offers a more direct path to the pleasures of hands free orgasms than most others.

Follow-up commentary
I still love the Nexus Excel. I find myself reaching for it more often than not when I want to settle into a couple hours of really intense pspot orgasms. Of all the prostate massagers that I have tried (and that number is getting pretty big now) this toy still gives the most direct and aggressive contact with my prostate out of any massager, plug or dildo that I've used. The perineum roller ball works really well, and it makes perfect contact. Again... I love this toy. I have found that since it is so direct as far as pressing against my prostate, it can actually be uncomfortable during and orgasm when I am using it during a regular masturbation session. For that reason, I generally keep this lovely P-spot whisperer for what it does so exceedingly well, and that's transport me to a land of unimaginable pleasure.
