The Nexus Excel is a prostate massager. This means it is designed to be inserted anally and provide pressure and therefore stimulation on the prostate. This toy is designed to just stay in place. You could thrust it a bit, but the head is designed for it to press on the prostate when it is fully inserted. So if you removed the toy (while thrusting) it would put less pressure on the prostate.

This toy is an intermediate to advanced user toy because of its size. It would be very difficult for a beginner to insert. It is also designed specifically for males, because only males have a prostate.

This toy has a L shape along the bottom, so this toy is next to impossible to insert all the way into the rectum and get it stuck. So it is very safe to use anally.

The Nexus Excel is made out of plastic. Plastic is a hard non-porous material that is quite safe for use. The plastic that Nexus uses is very smooth, there is no texture to it at all. There plastic is also very hard, so the toy has no flex or give or movement to it at all. Which in my opinion adds to the stimulation it provides. The toy has no real smell, or taste to it. After use and washing it, it also smells neutral and retains no odor (it is non-porous so it should never pick up an odor). The toy feels smooth and nice when it is inserted. It does feel different than other materials. I have used silicone toys and silicone is a bit less intense and a bit more forgiving. Plastic is harder so it creates more pressure and you get more feeling from your prostate. It is however harder to insert, because the material has no give. Because of that be careful when you are inserting this toy and just take your time to make sure you cause no damage.

The Nexus excel has two main portions to it. It has the anal portion and it has the outside portion. Here is what the toy looks like:


The outside portion is a metal rollerball that is designed to massage the prostate from the outside. I have always found these outside massagers to never provide that much stimulation. The nexus however does provide some good sensations. The metal ball is very hard and does add some pressure and it has a nice curve that fit my body nicely.

The inside portion has a nice aggressive curve to it, that really presses against the prostate. Overall I like the design of this portion. You might also notice the toy is not symmetrical. This is to prevent you from expelling the toy. You muscles in your rectum contract together, so an odd shaped toy like this will stay put better than a symmetrical toy such as an anal plug. The shape is uniquely designed for pleasure and that is what you get.

The size of this toy is quite large. In terms of insertable length it is around 3 inches. The whole toy being about 4 inches long. The insertable portion has a diameter of around 1.75 inches at the widest part. So it is quite a big toy. The base of the toy is smaller though. So once it is inserted it sits quite comfortably.

There is a handle on the other side (not the rollerball) that can be used for manipulation. I find the toy's shape to be so good though I do not use the handle. I just leave it in, because it sits on my prostate nicely.

The toy is relatively small so you could quite easily take it travelling. It also has a unique shape, so people might not know what it is even if they see it.

As I said earlier I believe this to be an intermediate to advanced toy because of the size.

This toy provides great stimulation. The angle is really agressive, the head is quite big and it just really presses on your prostate resulting in a great feeling of sexual satisfaction. Some people can achieve an orgasm from this alone. Others simply find it a great addition to masturbation or to sexual intercourse or foreplay. All are great ways to use this toy.

The best part about this toy is the design. It sits comfortably because of a taper base. It provides good stimulation because of a big head. It has a nice rollerball for a bit of extra zing. It was comfortable and orgasmic to use this toy.

I also like that the toy is plastic. I prefer silicone lubricant for anal sex. It lasts longer and feels better in my opinion. So I also think that adds to this toys performance.

This toy could not be used with a harness because it has a base, but the base is T-shaped. It is also really not meant to thrust with.

This is personally my favorite prostate massager.

This toy is easy to take care of. After use just wash it with warm soapy water or rubbing alcohol. Because it is non-porous there will be no bacteria harbored within the toy. Hard plastic is not really good to boil or place in the dishwasher because it could melt. I just keep this toy in a plastic bag under my bed. There are really no special storage considerations. Just make sure it is dry before you store it.

This toy is compatible with both silicone and water based lubricant. If you are using this toy anally you could also use it with an oil based lubricant.

The toy comes in a box that has is really not very discreet. It tells what the toy is and how it is used. It is a nice box and would be fine to give to someone as a gift. It looks nice. There are instruction printed on the box that let you know how to use this toy. You could use the box for storage, but it is a bit bulky for that.
