Use

The use of the product is exceedingly simple. Considering its girth, it is easily a hands free prostate massager. Therefore, to use this toy, one must simply insert it. Once the toy is inside, just move your hips around, tense your sphincter, and feel the pleasure. It's that simple.

However, certain positions are better than others. Laying on your side with your knees up or on your hands and knees are definitely the best positions. I have walked around with it, and while I wouldn't call it uncomfortable, it is not as pleasurable than the other positions.

This is a solo or couples toy and it does have the ability to be manually moved around with the grips. However, for best results, simply let it do its own thing. It always feels better that way.

Material / Texture

Polypropylene plastic, this is the material that the Nexus Excel is comprised of. It is hypoallergenic, non porous, and easily cleaned. It has a slight texture to it, but it is not really noticeable and does not add or detract from anything. The plastic is definitely firm, but for a toy like this, it needs to be firm in order to place pressure correctly. Do not expect this prostate massager to be plushy.

Design / Shape / Size

The Nexus Excel has an odd design at first glance. However, its odd shape is designed to fit the rectum and hug the prostate perfectly. At first it seems a bit girthy, but as soon as it goes in, it is quite comfortable. I could not be happier with the way it just snugly fits in. It is very functional and does its job better than any toy I have experienced yet.

At its base it has a little branch of sorts with a roller ball that is meant to rest on the perineum and move around to stimulate it. It is a very nice feeling and complements the internal feelings nicely. It has an opposing grip that can be used to manually move it around which is nice, but I find it is a bit unnecessary. I'm never one to complain about having more features than I need though, so I appreciate this feature.

Performance

As mentioned above, this toy does exactly what it is meant to do, massage the prostate. It is great for masturbating and for sex alike. I will say it is privy to intense stimulation which, although not bad, will mean your experiences are almost always shorter. However, that is just a testament to the pleasure that it provides.

For masturbating, just rock your hips with it inside. That is all that is needed.

The only thing I would say is that after extended use with lots of movement, such as walking around with it in, the direct stimulation can over time rub you raw. This applies to just about any toy though, so it is not really a negative.

Care and Maintenance

I would say that this is the best part about this toy. It is about as lenient with cleaning methods as toys get. Soap and water work well, and it can be immersed in water as it has no electronic parts. It is easy to store as well, with no real requirements in this area. It is a very good material to make toys out of, that is for sure.

    Nice review.
How was your experience with removing the ball, was it easy to get out for cleaning?

Great review! I love the look of these nexus toys, they make me wish I had a prostate! lol

silly me, i forgot to mention how to get the ball out. There is a little hole under the ball, and the product comes with something to poke it out with. Real easy. Once it's out and cleaned you just snap the ball back in.

Great review, thank you! However, the silver ball confuses me. I saw the comment on how to remove it, but is it a vibrator, and if so, how does it work? I don't see any button or switch to turn it on or off with.
  • Contributor: ambitious1
It is not a vibrator, it is just a ball. It essentially is there so that instead of rubbing your perineum, the toy rolls smoothly.
