Ultra douche - anal douche by Cal Exotics - review by Peggi

The Ultra Douche by California Exotics is an anal douche for both men and women who either want to clean out before anal play or for their other reasons. This is great for both beginners and those used to anal play and anal douching.

Anal douching is very easy and some experts even say healthy! It helps rid your body of contaminates and makes anal play a whole lot more enjoyable!

This kit comes in 3 pieces. It comes with a red nozzle, black bulb, and black safety guard. The kit is very easy to assemble, even without instructions, and the douche is also very easy to use. Nothing on the nozzle, bulb or guard are irritating or sharp. It is completely comfortable to use and I had no discomfort at all or difficulties.



This item, even if you wanted for some reason to share it, is not really safe to share. It can not be sterilized and a condom can not be used with this item. This should be cleaned only with water and antibacterial soap or isopropyl alcohol. You may also use a toy wipe, if you can't clean it immediately.

You will want to use a nice water-based lubricant to help with insertion of the nozzle.

The item did have a rubbery scent to it straight out of the package, but this faded over time. It came in one of those clam-shell plastic packages with product and company information listed on the paper inside. There was no taste to any of the pieces.



The entire assembled douche is 9" long from the tip of the nozzle to the bottom of the bulb. You'll want to insert about 4" or slightly less of the nozzle.

This was the first douche like this I've purchased. I have IBS and in the past, I've been constipated and we did buy one of the over-the-counter enema kits, but it was nothing fancy like this. I plan to use this kit for when we decide to do anal play, or for moments like previously, when I had an issue with my IBS! This was very comfortable to use and easy to figure out.

This was my first time using something like this and I would have liked having some instructions, but it was very easy to figure out how to use this. I was very nervous to try this out and insert it, but it didn't take long to get comfortable with it.

Unfortunately, I decided to throw this toy away. Because of the material it is made of and the inability to sterilize, I just didn't feel it was safe to use more than a couple of times. I prefer something that is one-use when it comes to douching, or something that can be fully cleaned. The thought of bacteria from back there growing in crevices was just not something I wanted to imagine.

It did work well, but considering the cost, this should've been made of better material. I also still have a problem with the fact that there were no instructions with this item.
