Bloomy - prostate massager discontinued by Fun Factory - review by Molly Carter

The Bloomy, by Fun Factory, is a silicone prostrate massager, but can be used just about any way you can imagine. I particularly like using the longer piece for vaginal penetration, while having the smaller arm pressed against my clit. Designed with a twist, the Bloomy has a 4 inch arm, a 2 inch arm and a loop at the base that serves as a great finger hold.

It is much smaller than I expected, the whole thing being able to be held in one hand. From the first time I saw it, I thought about using it vaginally, forgetting that it is designed for anal play.

There is a ridge on the longer arm, but do the thinness of the piece, I don't really notice it once it's inserted. Do to the curve and the flexibility, it can hit my g-spot rather nicely.

While a nice toy, the silicone is not firm and offers very little "stiffness." While this may not be a huge deal to some, it makes manipulating (thrusting, twisting, pushing and pulling) it more difficult than I would like. Although I have not used it anally, I imagine for some it may be difficult to achieve penetration due to its flimsiness.

There is a seam that runs the whole length of the piece, but it is very minimal and does not interfere with cleaning or sanitizing.

Cleaning this boy is easy; you can use toy cleaner, antibacterial soap and water, boil him or even throw him in the dishwasher. But beware. The silicone collects a TON of dust and hair and other random things you didn't know were floating around in the air. And although this is common with silicone, this is worse than any other toy I own.

As with any silicone toy, make sure to stick with water-based lubrication and keep it away from other silicone toys to keep it safe.

Although I don't reach for him often, the Bloomy, with his heavy ridge and little lip that likes to sit right on my clit, can be a whole lot of fun! Definitely not sorry I bought him!
