Lately, I've been getting into solo prostate stimulation, which, as a straight dude, I have to admit is kind of out there. But hey, don't judge. I've found prostate stimulation to be *extremely enjoyable once you get warmed up to it.

So, when the handmaiden anal dong showed up, I was extremely excited. Not only was it my first dedicated "anal" product, it was also my first silicone product. First, a note about the packaging. The packaging was probably the best I've seen in a product. Securely wrapped in hard plastic and then shrink-wrapped in plastic on top of that. The case clearly described the directions and benefits of the product.

It's an incredibly safe and sanitary product: phthalates-free, latex free, waterproof, dishwasher-safe, freezable, and microwavable. *Hoo, that's a mouthful. So as you can see, it's an extremely versatile product. An added bonus was the grey satin storage bag that was included in the package. This was a nice touch that made the product feel even more classy.

For those that haven't used a silicone product before, I'll try to describe the material. It's sort of like if you took a huge gummy worm and let it dry out for a few days on the counter. It's bendy and pliable, but not too cushy. A really great material.

The product is designed with a flared base for a handle, which ensures Newton's Anal Law: what goes in WILL come out. The tip has a couple ridges designed for pleasure. The shape of the dong is curved, much like the angle of a banana.

When it came time to experience the product, it was a little bit challenging. I consider myself a beginner to intermediate in terms of anal play/experience. I had a fairly difficult time taking this toy up there. It takes me awhile to get to the point where it can slide in and out easily, and even then it feels very, uh, FULL. I know I applied enough lube (water-based only by the way, since this is a silicone product), but still I struggled getting it in there. I think for someone with my experience level, it would have been easier to try something with gradual increases in size, like beads. I guess I just need some more practice putting stuff in my butt. (Wow, never thought I would EVER say that in my entire life). Finally, I was able to get the tip in, and when I did climax, it felt fantastic.

Even though my experience with this product was a bit challenging at first, I still think it deserves a high rating because it's so versatile. This could easily work well for vaginal stimulation as well, and the curvature of the shaft could be great for g-spot play. I'd definitely recommend this product to someone with intermediate to advanced anal experience, and someone who wants a versatile, well-constructed product to add their arsenal.

To be honest, I still have a difficult time squeezing this guy in there. Although, I rarely try anal play, so perhaps with more practice, it'll be able to please me in new ways. I'm definitely open to try some more.
