The Sexy Spades Large by Doc Johnson is a hulking piece of beautiful glass designed to be inserted into your booty. Ladies, I'm sure if you wanted to, you could use this vaginally but I imagine it is best for it's intended purpose: Filling a greedy ass. It has a perfect base for anal, and I've never felt like it was going to try to pull a David Copperfield and just vanish. No, this plug won't disappear like Jimmy Hoffa or your favorite magician. It will stay in whatever hole you put it in until you remove it. If you do decide to use this in your pussy be careful. I don't think it is long enough to be a cervix rammer, but I don't have one. It could cause bruising and I don't want bruises on any of you wonderful women's cervixes (or is that cervii?) I digress. This is a wonderful glass plug if you can handle the size and weight. This thing is a solid hunk of Tempered Glass from Doc Johnson. Tempered glass also goes by the names Pyrex glass and Borosilicate glass. It all smooth nonporous material that can be cleaned however you would like.

10% bleach solution, alcohol, toy cleaner, boiling it (be careful of fast temperature changes), or the dishwasher.. Take your pick here.


This thing is incredibly smooth doesn't have a smell or taste EVER. It's not a realistic toy in the sense of being shaped like a penis or anything, though it is shaped like a spade! It is glass, so it is hard. There is no give at all here.


It does hold fingerprints after being touched but they are super easy to clean off!

This thing is BIG. First, let's look at a comparison with The Super Big End on the left, The Sexy Spades Large in the middle, and the Risque to the right:





As you can see, it is about the same size at it's widest point as the Super Big End, but it doesn't have as much of a taper. This is definitely a toy for the more advanced anal adventurers out there. In comparison to the Risque it completely eclipses it in size. Mine came in at 4 and 5/8s inches tall, with a neck girth matching the manufacturer measurement of 1 and 1/4 inch.

It has a pretty lengthy neck which is WONDERFUL for making sure this thing stays put.


The big fear most will have with a toy this size though is the biggest part of the bulge. It is pretty dang big. Mine measured in at just a teeny bit over 2 3/8s inch which is what the manufacturer says it is.

You can use whatever lube you want with this thing anally. They are all safe with the material, and shouldn't cause problems during back door play. However, ladies: Stick with silicone or water based lubes because oils can wreak havoc on your vaginal health. A single drop getting into the wrong place could cause all kinds of issues.

It comes in a big see through plastic box, with no instructions. The packaging is entirely recyclable, but not worth much else.

It took me like 6 nights of trying to get this thing in comfortably before I finally bought the Super Big End for a slow stretch until I could take it.
