Okay for beginners or temporary use, but...

My overall impression of this toy is that it might be worth a try if you are completely new to anal toys; it's soft and small enough that you shouldn't have a hard time with your first insertion. It's also inexpensive enough to toss if you find that you don't care for this type of stimulation, or if you simply want to upgrade. I would not recommend this toy for people who have experience in anal stimulation, or if you plan on keeping this toy around for awhile.

extremely useful review
The Crystal Jellies anal starter is a petite dildo designed and marketed for the anal play, and it is made out of a jelly material. The shape and size of it are quite small, but it is ideal if you are looking for something to begin with, or to simply to try anal stimulation. It is small enough to use as a vaginal dildo if you find average dildos to be just too much for you, but remember to not use it anally if your intent is for a tiny vaginal toy. It has a length of 7", with the insertable length being 6. It has a circumference of 2", and a diameter of 3/4", with a slightly flared base and veined texture.

Jelly sex toys are made from a mixture of PVC and rubber, resulting in a soft jelly-like texture. This makes them feel reasonably realistic, and most of the time they are translucent. This crystal jelly had a very flexible texture, so it bent or flopped over at the wrong times occasionally. This did make it somewhat frustrating to control, especially when your hand or partners hand is covered in lubricant.

Jellies normally contain phthalates; so, when I first opened this toy, I found there to be a strong rubber smell, which isn't too pleasant. I have found that the smell doesn't really ever go away, no matter how many times is aired out or washed.

Jellies are porous and care should be had when using this toy. It is not recommended to share this toy with others, or to switch jelly toys between anal and vaginal orifices. Using a condom is your best bet to preserve this toy, and that will also help keep it clean and safe. Water-based lubricants are the way to play with jellies, so steer clear of silicone or oil based lubes. To clean this toy, use a mild anti-bacterial soap with warm water. Also, take care to dry the toy and store it in a cool, dry place away from other objects – especially other jelly toys, as they can be contaminated due to their porous nature. Jelly toys can also have an adverse reaction if they are stored together.
Experience
My experience with this toy is mixed. I find the crystal jelly anal starter to be quite nice, yet it's cumbersome at the same time. Anal play is not new to me, but playing with anal toys is... so, I found this toy to be quite easy to insert, other than the occasional bending or slipping while it's coated in lubricant. However, it did not give me the sensation that I am used to with anal play with my partner. The flared base sort of keeps it in place, but it would need to be bigger if you were to wear it or keep it in for longer periods of time. The base is big enough that the anus doesn't swallow it, though. The material is a big drawback for me; it discolored after some time, and I used it with condoms for preservation purposes. The smell of the material is still lingering, even though I have had it for quite some time now. The smell even travels when the drawer it's kept in is opened. The water-based lubricant necessity is also kind of a drawback, too.
Follow-up commentary
The size of the Crystal Jelly was indeed too small, and the material used was not of good quality, or practical for long time use. Due to the material's odor and weird way of discoloring over time, even with proper care and cleaning, I have since thrown it out and replaced it with a better anal toy. I would still recommend this to new anal players to test with, but definitely not for long-term use.

I hate jelly toys, but this is a great beginner size (not much bigger than a finger) and the forgiving texture is also very good for early explorations. Thanks for a concise, well-written review.

Great review, Since its such a small started toy being a jelly shouldn't be a huge deal for a temp toy.
