The Ego E4, by Jopen, is a hands-free prostate massager primarily, but one could also consider it a vibrating butt plug, kegel exerciser, G-spot stimulator or mini hands-free rabbit vibe even. It could have multiple uses, depending on your needs.

As it's primary focus though, it is a very good prostate stimulator, with a powerful rechargeable motor. The vibrations can be felt throughout the toy inside the anus and outside along the perineum. It is relatively quiet too, especially once inserted. Not as quiet as the Lux LX-3, which is whisper quiet, but a bit more throaty and rumbly at full blast. That is mostly dampened when inserted though, so it is still pretty discreet sounding.

For women:
You can also insert either end vaginally and the other arm will stimulate the clitoris simultaneously. You ladies can also use it as a butt plug and get some vibrations on your G-spot through the vaginal wall, inside the rectum, and outside around your vulva.

The material is 100% silicone and is waterproof. The velvety surface, while matte, is very smooth and there are no seams. Silicone is a 10 on the EF safety scale, so you can share this toy if you sterilize between uses. Overall, the E4 is pretty firm with maybe just the slightest bit of pliability. This one is definitely for more advanced users, as the girth takes some warming up to at 1.5" in diameter (for me at least). I think it is much larger than I expected from the product photos and is slightly intimidating.

There is no odor to the E4, and I doubt it has taste, but I didn't taste it. It comes in a medium blue color only like the rest of the Ego line.

The E4 is waterproof, so you can take it in the shower or tub for playtime too.

I like the shape of this toy. It has a great taper (about 1/2" at the neck), so you don't need to worry about it falling out. It is thick enough to give a full feeling, while pressing against the prostate. You can really feel the force when you start coming and sense the cum pumping out of your glands. Pretty unique feeling.

The toy has a lock mechanism for travel, so it doesn't turn on accidentally in your luggage or storage. Just press the power button 3 times fast to lock; and 3 times fast again to unlock. Simple and practical.

The specs are 4.5" long and 3" on the perineum arm. 3.5" are insertable on the long arm and 1.5" on the smaller one. This works just fine for me, as my prostate is only a few inches inside my anus.



Compared to LX-3

This is much more powerful than I expected. It is also larger than anticipated, but I was able to get it inserted with some patience. I don't typically like things this wide inserted, but from time to time I do. I love my LX-3, but sometimes I feel like I want something larger inserted too.

The button is easy to operate and the E4 stays in place. If you relax while kneeling, you get the sense it wants to creep out, but then you just tense your sphincter muscles and it pulls it back inside. You can do this repeatedly as a kegel exercise or just for pleasure.

It takes a few hours to charge via the USB charger. I use a cheap USB adapter from my MP3 player to plug into a wall. It also has a red/green indicator to note when charging is done. The E4 button though glows blue during charge and goes off when completed. I'd estimate you get 60-90min per charge.

The vibrations are of the deep penetrating rumbly variety mostly.

You can wash and rinse without care, but do not boil it or leave it sitting in direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

Cleaning is easy. Just wash in soap and water, use toy cleaner, 10% bleach solution or a toy wipe after use. It is not recommended to use Silicone lubricant with silicone toys of course, because it can degrade the material. You can however do a spot test at your own risk.

The only negative about the material is silicone draws lint and dust. However, because they give you a storage box, this is a non issue. Alternately, you could use a baggie or pouch (not included) to store it.

It's usually best to discharge rechargeable batteries fully before recharging.

The Ego E4 comes in a nice black case with the Ego logo on it and the E4 & Charger rest securely inside, within a foam core cutout. It looks very classy and is a convenient storage solution. If left on the bedside table, it wouldn't be obvious what is inside, unless someone knew the Ego brand already.

A few reviewers commented and complained about the motor (single) being in the perineum arm, which is also the same fault with the Lux LX-3 and LX-3+. While I don't disagree with those criticisms at all (It is baffling), I find that the E4 still delivers solid vibration to my prostate. It still makes you wonder what they were thinking, but this one is quite powerful, so it's not a big deal to me.

This is a perfect match for the Ego E3, making a nice fun set.
