Tiny Probe

The L'amour Probe (beginner) by California Exotic Novelties is designed to be used as an anal probe for men and women alike. Just lube it up and insert and enjoy the stimulation but do not expect it to stay put like an anal plug.

This would be great for beginners if the base were larger so as to not lose this toy in your anal cavity. The only really safe way to use this toy is to suction cup it to the shower wall, bathtub or other smooth surface before inserting it.

Using this with a partner could be done but again, be careful not to lose this toy. Make sure your partner has a firm grip or use the suction cup to anchor it down before playing with it.

This probe is made from velvety silicone earning it a 10/10 saftey rating. Silicone is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. It also repels dirt and bacteria and doesn't fall apart with extended friction.

The silicone feels velvety, smooth, is quite plushy and had no smell upon opening. This toy is a bit of a lint magnet so washing it before and after every use is required. This material is also quite grabby on skin so using water based lubricant is required to make it glide around smoothly. Do not use silicone lubricant unless you've patch tested to be sure it won't ruin the material.

This probe is offered in pink and blue here on Edenfantasys but the blue has more of a purplish tinge to it.

This anal probe almost has a rounded teardrop shape to it. It starts at 1/2" in diameter at the top rounded end and slowly widens out to just over 1" in diameter at its widest point down near the base. The neck is 5/8" in diameter and the suction cup style base is 1 1/4" in diameter. This toy is also 4" tall from the top to the bottom of the suction cup base and has an insertable length of 3 1/2".

There is a visible seam that runs up one side and down the other of the probe but it is not noticed during use. Other than that there are no gaps in this toy.

The best performance to be had out of this toy is by using the strong suction cup. Stick it to the shower wall, bathtub or other smooth surface of appropriate height. Using the suction cup helps keep the probe in place while inserting and makes it easier to "ride" the toy without your hands slipping from the lubricated surface. The use of the suction cup will also hopefully prevent and embarrassing trip to the ER to have this toy removed from the anal cavity. Definitely use caution when inserting this toy anally.

You could probably also insert this toy vaginally but it is not very big so not everyone will be able to enjoy it that way.

The anal probe is waterproof and can be totally submerged so cleaning is super easy. Just wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner or wipe down with a toy wipe. You can also sterilize this toy by boiling it for a few minutes or tossing it in the dishwasher.

There was no storage pouch included but you could just toss this in any kind of storage pouch or bag you have around for toys to keep the lint and hair off of this. Otherwise you can just toss this in a drawer or storage box with your other toys.

The anal probe came packaged in a plastic box with a plastic molded insert for the toy to sit in. The front has "Pure Silicone", the Cal Exotics logo, "L'amour" and "Premium Silicone Probe with Suction Cup-Beginner" on it. The toy is visible through the front of the package making it not very discreet at all.

The back of the packaging has a photo of the toy and lots of information about it including how to clean it and use it and the Cal Exotics website.

The packaging is okay for storage but should be recycled if you are not using it. It should also be wrapped if gifting this to someone since it's not discreet.

Upon first seeing this toy out of the box I was a bit skeptical on how well it work for me. It was attractive looking and felt great to the touch but it just looks very small with a tiny base that worries me.

I lubed it up and worked it in and found that it was indeed nice to use but I'm a little paranoid about the base not being big enough so I didn't use it for long. The suction cup does make up for the base being so small but I would still be very cautious while using this anally.
