The Black Rose Whipping Willow is part of an entire Black Rose BDSM set. The purple set is great for light BDSM play with a classy look. It's perfect for the type of play my husband and I engage in. We keep it erotic with just enough light pain to make it exciting. The Black Rose set is elegant and classy.


The whip is very well made. The handle is wrapped tight around a dowel and secured with a metal rivet. The signature black rose peeks out at the very top of the handle. It also features a nice wrist strap. That ensures the whip won't get dropped during use and also makes for a nice storage strap. It can just be hung on any hook.


The purple is not as bright as the purple sashes on the ties, restraints, and mouth bit. It's a rather deeper and duller purple. It is still pretty, but it does not match exactly with the rest of the set. If it weren't for the black rose, I wouldn't even know it was part of the set.


The falls are a faux leather. They are about 16 inches long and very uniform in size. They produce a light to moderate sting. Those who enjoy heavier pain may like this as a warm up or cool down, but it probably won't give them the hefty bite they are looking for. Since my husband and I enjoy light play, this is great.
