Use:

The Icicles No. 28 by Pipedream is a beautifully textured glass dildo. Because of the flared base, it can be used anally as well as vaginally. It works best to pull it in and out slowly so you can feel every ridge. Doing this quickly may be irritating to your flesh. You can also do quick shallow thrusting, where you don't move the ridges in and out, but instead rub them in place. It is even possible to grab the base and twist or spin the dildo, which some may feel is pleasurable. Be warned the toy creates something I call the "juicer effect," so be prepared for some mess. Your juices will slide out and down the ridges of the toy, and may eventually reach your hand. With this dildo, you can experiment with temperature play. Run it under (or place it in a bowl of) warm or cool water. Do not freeze, refrigerate, bake or place in the microwave. This creates temperatures that are too extreme and can weaken your toy and hurt your sensitive parts.

This toy is best suited for those who like texture and firm toys. Because of its rigidity, you must take care not to bruise your insides. Go nice and slow and enjoy yourself. Don't get too carried away! Please do not attempt double penetration with two glass toys.

The No. 28 is made of Pyrex Glass, which rates a 10/10 on the Eden Safety Scale. Pyrex Glass is nonporous, which means it doesn't have holes for bacteria to get into, and it can be shared if cleaned properly. It is less dense than regular glass and much more resistant to breaking and shattering. If it broke, it would break into large manageable pieces. It retains temperature very well.

It has no smell or taste, and does not pick them up either. The toy is a little chilly when first inserted (unless warmed) but will warm up quickly once inside you. The toy is very firm and rigid. The texture is smooth with very little drag, and the toy is covered in ridges. The ridges are very pronounced, and you will feel each one. Because of this, some people may not like it. It is more for intermediate users. The texture definitely adds to the stimulation though, and really makes this a 5 star toy.

Design/Shape/Size:

The design of the 28 is wonderful. It is a deeper pink than in the pictures. More of a translucent bubble gum pink. It starts with a teardrop-shaped head with ridges on top, which is rounder and fatter in shape than most other glass toys. It then stems down into a long shaft and ends with a flared base. The shaft is adorned with a spiral that goes down nearly the entire length of the toy. The shaft also has a nice G-spot curve. The base is is an oval and fatter towards the bottom, giving it the appearance of balls. Similar to that of the Gold Laced G. Not too realistic, very subtle.

The size is great. With a toy this textured, I wouldn't have wanted it to be any larger. I feel like this is a good fit for average users if they can take the texture and firmness. This toy is fairly realistic in appearance, though not overly so. It hints at being a penis, and is not discreet, but those with an aversion to realistic toys may still like it. This toy is not great for travel, since it could break.

Performance:

This toy performed amazingly. The ridges are so pronounced that you can feel each one going in and out. The texture may be too much for some, but most people will find this quite pleasurable. The toy will warm up once inside you, so pulling the toy most of the way out and then slowly sliding it back in is nice. The curve makes it nice for G-spotting, though it would probably work well on the P-spot as well. All in all, a toy that makes you feel great, at a great price.

Care and Maintenance:
This toy is easy to care for, though you need to pay a little extra attention to the spaces in between the ridges. You can clean it with soap and water, toy cleaner, a 10% bleach solution, or you could boil it for a couple minutes. To store it, keep it in a Ziploc bag in a safe place or in a drawstring bag if you have one. Padded is best, but not necessary. It is compatible with all types of lube. Please clean after each use and before switching orifices.

As can be the case with any toy, especially one this rigid, it may be a little uncomfortable to insert when you are not fully aroused. I found if I warmed up longer first it was easier to insert. I didn't have a G-spot orgasm with this, though I have never been able to do it on my own anyway. I feel like this should give many women or men great orgasms though. I did enjoy playing with this one, even though I am not usually a huge fan of glass toys or dildos in general. The texture was fun, though it did get a little messy. I really enjoy and recommend this toy!

28 sure is great! I don't use dildos very often, but I am keeping this one in my collection. It has held up to use very well. If you're a texture fan, pick up one of these!
