Pipedream is a company that is notorious for coming out with toys and products that suit a wide range of adult novelty enthusiasts. The Icicles No. 28 is no exception. This glass dildo is perfect for beginners who do not want to venture into the world of vibrators just yet, but may want a different experience to the standard jelly and skin-like models. It is also a wonderful addition to a growing glass toy collection, or for a special addition to a private night at home. Those are just a few of the pros to this toy, but as with anything in life, there are a few cons. Let's start with the pros first.

The Icicles No. 28 is microwave and dishwasher safe. For a lot of us who love glass toys, or for people who are new to the glass toy arena, these two safety zones can make a world of difference. Dishwasher safe makes cleaning and sterilizing the toy incredibly easy. If you prefer a warm sensation to anal or vaginal foreplay, then having a microwave safe toy is the way to go.

The design of the toy is a huge pro on several levels. The toy is curved slightly, which offers a more subtle g-spot feel than the "finger pointing" designs of other toys. Now for the cons. There really are not that many. We found two cons with the toy. One was with anal play. The large head, slight curve, and immediate ripple effect are amazing during vaginal play. When you move to anal play, however, these can be a problem. Most toys wait to start a ripple or vein effect a little further down the shaft the toy. It was not a big turn off or con, but if you are looking for an anal glass toy that is not an anal plug style, then it is something to consider. The second con was a time issue. If you are using the toy for foreplay and then using the toy after sex, it can be a bit awkward. The ripple effect the Icicle No. 28 uses can be a bit rough after long periods of time. However, this con can be easily fixed by using a soothing lubricant, and switching to another play option for a bit.
