Wow. That's all I have to say about this little glass number. I remember years ago when glass dildos were rare and expensive, so I was pleased to find the Icicles No. 28 for such a reasonable price. Because of the price I did question whether the quality would suffer as a result.

Boy, was I wrong. It's a FANTASTIC toy for the price, and would be even for a higher price.

Icicles No. 28 is a solid glass, handblown dildo. The glass is borosilicate, otherwise known as Pyrex glass. This makes it safe enough to eat with (now there's an interesting image) and makes it absolutely perfect in the cleaning and sanitizing categories. It can be washed with soap and water, it's completely waterproof, and even toy cleaner will work wonders. You'll feel like you're polishing a piece of artwork when you clean it. The best part is that it can be stored with any other toy and used with any type of lube!

The toy itself is 7 inches long, with a very generous circumference of over 4". This made me hesitant at first because I'm not used to toys with such a wide girth, particularly ones that are as rigid as glass. The tip is molded very well, allowing it to glide easily without feeling jarring or painful. The tip is particularly cute. It's hard to tell from the photos, but it comes with tiny little ridges on the bottom to give it that 'hint' of realism. I found it adorable.

Aesthetically, it's very pleasing. It's a darker pink than the photos show, but the color is very uniform. The swirls are very pronounced - you'll feel them, trust me. It comes in a beautiful box. I was hoping that it would come with a storage pouch like some glass dildos do, but it unfortunately didn't. That's a reflection on the price tag, I'm assuming, so there you go. We can't have everything. It's very heavy and very solid, and it might actually get a bit heavy during solo use depending on your wrist and arm strength. Still, it's not bad, just heavier than the average vibrator.

The dildo is molded so that it can be used in a strap-on, and the flared base lets you set it up for display if that's your cup of tea. You can use warm or cold water to change the temperature as you desire. It did feel a bit cold to me at first, but it warmed up with use.

Overall, it did exactly what I'd hoped for and more. It's definitely a new favorite!

My first use of the No. 28 was a partner situation; my husband got, um, a bit excited when it came in the mail. He used it on me while I was stimulating myself, and it was AMAZING. I did find that I had to encourage him to be gentle at first because he's used to more flexible items, and it was a bit painful when he accidentally bumped my cervix at some point. Still, with the right angle it was excellent. The curvature aided in G-spot stimulation, and the swirls were surprisingly nice without being painful. I did find that I had to be careful not to clamp down too hard internally, I do my kegels, after all, and I usually squeeze down during an orgasm to extend the sensations. I could NOT do that with this toy because it just didn't have enough give. I'm not sure if it was just me, but a little warning nonetheless.
