The Flowered Friend works best for vaginal penetration as the flared base isn't quite flared enough to make anal penetration safe. It has a wonderful g-spot curve that is good at hitting both deep and shallow g-spots. This toy is perfect for anyone who likes texture. The nubs are stimulating without being overwhelming and add to the overall experience of the toy rather than distracting from it as more complex textures can do.

Glass is a very hard material so solo play may be best when getting used to it; be gentle at first to avoid possible bruising or soreness. With some practice though, it makes an attractive toy to use with a partner.

Like most glass toys, the Flowered Friend is perfect for temperature play. Just soak it in a little warm or cool water and the glass will remain that temperature for some time. After warming it up or cooling it down, the toy can be used vaginally or simply pressed to various areas of the body (particularly nipples or clitoris) for exciting stimulation.

One of my favorite parts of this toy however is that the flower base is just heavy enough to allow the toy to be propped up on a surface and ridden or bounced on. This is a great way to hit the g-spot but requires a little practice and a lot of carefulness.

The curve is just enough to be pleasing without putting too much pressure on such a sensitive spot. The nubs create interesting sensations inside. However, since this is just a vaginal dildo, you may want to pair it with a clitoral vibe if you are one of the many women unlikely to orgasm from penetration alone.

The smooth head of the toy is useful for rubbing on the clit but the hardness may be too much for some people. I found that rubbing the head or the nubby shaft on my clit worked wonders for me.

Temperature play with the Flowered Friend works really well. Just a few minutes in warm or cool water brings it to the right temperature and the temperature lasts 10-15 minutes for me depending on how hot/cold I originally made it.

The ease of keeping it clean has to be one of the best things about this toy. There is nothing you can't use on this toy. Wash it with soap and water, use your favorite toy cleaner, wipe it down with a toy wipe, or even just throw it in the dishwasher. Glass is very easy to keep clean. The nubs aren't quite high enough to gunk up around them, so there is no trouble with cleaning at all.

While tempered glass isn't delicate at all, you still might want to keep this toy either in its original box or wrapped up to keep it from banging around, especially if you keep your toys in something that gets moved often. I personally just sit this toy down inside my toy box, but I wouldn't keep it in a drawer or anything unprotected.

The Flowered Friend came in a very pretty black box with a clear plastic front to make the toy visable. It fit inside a plastic shell inside the box. The box can easily be used to store the toy in if you don't mind the space it takes up.
